Exciting times for all metal fans. The concept in Babymetal lore of a Metal Resistance is something that should resonate with anyone listening to Japanese metal as it’s in a revival period right now. Fighting against the mainstream overlords who own almost every radio station and control the music industry.

What a privilege! 😳 Insanely talented ladies. The "more punky" sisters or cousins of "Lovebites", it seems to me. Nemophila took my heart by storm, 2 weeks ago. With Iron Maiden, Lovebites and Nemophila, I am in Metal heaven. 😊 🐺💮

@@jawosammadennhier7062 Three members of Nemophila just went to a Lovebites concert and the two bands took some selfies together. Lovebites and Nemo, double bill, that would be the dream ticket!

Great reaction..I hope all of Nemophilas efforts pay off.. They deserve a spot on the world stage, along with bands like Lovebites, Band Maid, and a few other amazing japanese artists/bands..very unique styles..

"The sun is rising in the East", I always say, thinking of Nemophila and Lovebites. I am excited how "Chaos Control" will develop, supported by ex-Lovebites bass player Miho.

Another masterpiece! 6 different riffs, 1 breakdown section and 2 guitar solos in a song of 3 minutes and 20 seconds! I recommend《adabana》as the next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻

Although many will compliment Midori and Miyako from Lovebites as the two best female guitarists in Japan, I believe Saki and Hazuki are better. Nice song, good reaction! I would suggest Lonesome Blue Body Rock ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/YqilypKCkbCpgNI.html ) for another female Japanese band with some great rock rifts. If you haven't already reacted to it, of course, lol.

There good but the stuff miyako and midori are playing and the speed expecially when harmonizing is next level stuff.

@@Roy19861 I think a lot also is that few bands play the length of harmony guitars. Nemophila is capable, they just play short versions.

@Guy Gourley Maybe yes I don't know nemophilia libary good enough to judge that. Also it's what you prefer all 4 a great gitarist in my opinion I just like miyako and midori's sound a bit more.

I prefer Nemophila overall, but as a guitarist myself, I can't really call it between those two teams. Fantastic players, all of them. I've heard Saki do longer form stuff, including an instrumental set of prog and prog-metal at Silver Elephant in Kichijoji. First-rate stuff. In fact, the Japanese female metal scene has a _bunch_ of excellent guitarists, from elite-tier shredders to innovative rhythm players. Others: Sakura Yoshida (Hagane), a flat-out generational talent, Rei aka: Suzaku (Muses), Yuki (D-Drive), HAL-CA (Asterism), Mitsuru (ex-Bridear, Madaseka), Kanami Tono (Band-Maid), Cloudberry (ex-The SheGlapes), Illumina and Ika-chan (Ark Royal...another great guitar pair), Tomo-Zo (Gacharic Spin/Doll$Boxx), LiSA-X, Eita (Solo, Seven Seas), Asaka (TRiDENT), Erika (Whiskey Dust), Matsuri (Hanabie...doesn't play leads, but is a terrific rhythm layer and composer)..and I'll stop now, but there are more!

@@DavidKAnderson I agree, just a lot of extremely talented players out there. Often it’s just matching the right members to create that special band. Been enjoying Lonesome Blue lately as well.

Time to chime in… newish to your channel, KZread pointed out the JFeMetal reactions, here for it. Getting to know you guys, I’ve maybe watched 10-15now? (85%ish from Lovebites, Nemophila, BandMaid, BabyMetal). So it seems you’re all musicians? A band? Would love to know a lil more. Love the Japanese scene, as you alluded to, bringing the good parts of the old shit, but most importantly, mashing it together in some new ways, whether subtle or not. Lovebites centered on powermetal, but full-on Testament at times, touch of death (guit riff, sorry but not vocally), over to Sonata Arctica, back by way of “you got another thing coming” and a smidge of shout at the devil. Nemophila puts pop punk, rap, and death core in the same song. Try BandMaid’s Moratorium. It’s got Taylor swift, offspring and a breakdown where people argue whether it’s more Iommi or Dimebag. kzread.info/dash/bejne/oWVhw9GMZZnLd8Y.html So from Nemophila, my fav is Adabana(continuing their blossoming flower theme). Like Seize the Fate, it has less of her screech, and it’s a lil less thrashy/speedy. But the drum break is out-fucking-standing, and if any of you compose seriously, study the bridge riff (hint: it’s a 9 note scale). Lil showoffish, me likey some overhanded tapping (tho Lovebites does it in live duets🤷‍♂️), and no sweatpants in this one, glittery-glam gorgeous. What, ijs… kzread.info/dash/bejne/c6yNy7Gwo9icp7g.html Ok, less metal, and hard to suggest where to start re this can-o-worms, but has anyone mentioned Doll$Boxx? The musicians of a goofy electronic pop funk hard rock (metal drums at times, and the skill level you’ve become accustomed to) band called Gacharic Spin(Gacha-gotcha sounds like “clattering”, they named themselves “noisy” using a word that no one can pronounce in either language, so much for pop-band aspirations) : try Broken Lover (live) for stage energy (punkish, chaotic) kzread.info/dash/bejne/q4qI0pWMdbbgoLw.html , or Mindset for newer lineup’s RHCP vibe (but with acid jazz breakdown, and … Latin street drumming?). kzread.info/dash/bejne/g6GAkrhvZpq3qqw.html . But Doll$Boxx was when they had Unlucky Morpheus Singer Fuki step in in 2012; the result wasn’t a single, it was a separate signed band that got a bigger deal than either had at the time (why have only one band when you’re diverse and prolific enough for three?!). So their go-to vid for reactions is King Records’ channel Take My Chance. kzread.info/dash/bejne/n6lm3JaOlpy6l8Y.html , or Shout Down (2017), kinda their center kzread.info/dash/bejne/eIqatNl7labUdZM.html . But I’m gonna recommend from their only other studio release (2017), their 14th & last song (vids for all 14, if ya like), Dragonet, best song you’ll ever not be able to tell (cuz in Japanese) was about the last dragon banished to cry blood from the stars forever (Fuki does love powermetal after all) & drummer repeats(in English) “He dominated the ancient world’s wars, his name is Dragonet” kzread.info/dash/bejne/oHxotqeyetrWnZc.html Regardless, kudos, I’ll try to catch/keep up 🤘🎸💃😎
