Why not add in Carnomorphs? Would have liked to learn about them to have a full review.

Agree 🥺I just bought the carnomorphs

I’ve got every piece of content for this game and still want more. Being able to swap alien races and characters between games is a huge reason to get everything. One thing I look for in games is variety and choice. Variety of setup, gameplay, synergies etc. Choice of heroes, enemies, etc. And this series has all of that for me. I even have the untold stories books and they make this game very interesting.

Seriously disappointing that you can’t just go to a store and buy it

I had heard that lockdown is an improvement, but I really wanted the Alien movie feel. I only have the base game for now, but I think I will be getting everything eventually

I’ve been wanting this game for ages. Thank you for helping me make up my mind!

The lockdown stretch goals is around 80 at my retail store. Do you think its worth it? I dont really care much for the chytrids but i do want the 3d doors and rover..however not sure if its worth thr price. I just cant stand cardboard standees😂

I know this is a year after the video came out and I haven’t finished the video but the new Nemesis Retaliation GameFound is up and you can get some of the expansions covered here for really good (non-scalped) prices. (Looking at you, Aftermath and Medic expansions)

Hey, man! Question. I made a pledge for the special edition of retaliation (plus the sangrevores race and the extra characters), buuuuuuut...I'm a dumbass and didn't notice that you could also pledge for Aftermath and medic, do you think we will be able to "late pledge" this badboys? I want Aftermath SO bad, but I'm not really in the mood to pay $300 in Amazon for it :/. PD: Awesome video, btw! I currently own Nemesis the base game and the two intruder expansions (Voidseeders and Carnomorphs). The second i get the change to buy lockdown on sale, i will! I love this game, Nemesis is soooo much fun with friends! Thanks, and subed!

@@pablosamuelestradaochoa4127 I can’t say for sure, but I think you should be able to. I’d also recommend picking up the Xyrians too if you get the chance. It’s only 17 bucks and it sounds like it will add a very cool gameplay aspect.

Can you play the Void Seeders solo?

Any example of „breaking the game“ while using expansion/aftermath? I liked the basegame using the AM-characters _alot_

It's really cute that you found one of the art pieces too disturbing (the Self-Mutilation one). I have that same thing with the First Aid card in Arkham Horror LCG (original version), and the Hypochondria weakness.

Interesting, I'm new to the series so I've been looking at a bunch of reviews/suggestions/etc and the overwhelming sentiment I've seen is that owning both the base game and Lockdown is only for die-hard fans; then again, you own seemingly all the content for the game so I guess you could say you are a die-hard!

can voidseeders be played with lockdown?

Yes, but you need to have nemesis lockdown stretch goals as well for it to be compatible.

I'm surprised this would trigger anyone. I like the rather adult/raw artwork and the dark atmosphere it adds to the game

Everyone has a different spot where they would draw the line in the sand, I think this makes for an understandable exclusion. There are different way to emphasize the *nitty gritty* experience it sounds like you are looking for, without including self-harm and suicide themes.

@@jimbobway15 Whilst I agree with what you're saying to an extent, I personally don't think that it's graphic enough to warrant not playing with the card in a game. It's entirely fictional, and for me it adds positively to the air of desperation whilst also fitting in with the idea of aliens who affect your sanity.. which consequentially leads to acting out whatever.

@@jimbobway15 I didn't once say you HAD to accept it. It's very clear what your stance is on this, and you gave your opinion. Now I've given mine which differs from yours haha. It's not a big deal. I'm just explaining how it's fictitious and therefore when you realise that, then you know you shouldn't be taking it so so seriously as though you're viewing an actual real person doing such an act like it's a crime scene photo... As opposed to what it is, which is some inconsequential art graphic whilst you're reading the card effect text (all part of an adult themed game) anyway. Then if you play the Carnomorph expansion you have aliens consuming deceased crew members amongst other aspects. What you going to do - give that a miss also? Seems like a shame!
