Right? Lol he needs something to help him out. Honestly after watching this, just update his auto speed like every other mage got and then buff his W by .5 seconds so he has more defense and offensive tools. Easy peasy lemon squeezy

W skill is not an offensive ability. It is a defensive ability specifically a utility ability in that it zones the enemy. Use it to change the battlefield during team fights. Instead of thinking of it as a damage or stun spell, instead imagine it as a soft Anivia wall. When placed the enemy now has to make a choice, walk around, flash away, walk through or get stunned. You will never be able to use it as an offensive choice. Zone, very helpful against melee champs who stick on to you, place it on yourself and they will be stunned if they stay to kill you. The best use of this skill is when you get ganked, throw W down on yourself, and then Ult on yourself.

Wow first neme viktor upload in years, hes finally back

Viktor has great AP ratios, so he is strong if he lands E 2x and full duration of R. But that´s a big if cuz anyone can just walk out of them both. W is usually useless to cast on enemies, I always cast it on myself for self peel. With these runes he is weak in lane and Tristana is a rough matchup. You could go Aery, Scorch, Bone Plating and Shield Bash to get more early game power.

FYI last Time Viktor got a buff or nerf it was in 12.10 so 2 years ago

torch is nice but its also very squishy , I see a lot of champs who did liandry first before go torch now and they're so paper

Viktor W should be buffed by giving it grounded. That ability is just so sad that enemies tend to just run away despite them being near the center. Much worse if they have a dash. It's evolved counterpart doesn't even improve it. Tear > Lich > Torch seems to be a much better build path imo.

there's definitely a couple things that could be nice for viktor like you said give grounding or maybe a pulling effect like aurelion E. also I think it's time to let viktor W upgrade work on his ult or atleast increase it a little bit. 20% slow feels rly weak but I doubt we're gonna see any changes since he's around 50% riot won't touch him

More sustained damage so probably vs another long range mage who you can't proc first strike reliability into

Love viktor but he feels completly useless if you don't have a hard CC tank to lock down targets otherwise everyone just walks out of your spells
