Hi Woodzman, I really enjoy your videos. I recently got a sweet rack from PMR for my 250 L. I’m pretty much sold on Nelson Rig. I am interested In go the next size up. I live in the central part of California where it’s freaking hot. I like to carry extra water. Do you think the next size up on the Nelson Rig would look stupid with a little bit more overhang over the rack? Btw…I am embarrassed to say I live in Ca. Our governor is a disgrace. That freaking knucklehead is releasing murderers from prison to save a few bucks. Sorry, got a little political.

Hi Rick ,yea the next size up is big for sure and it will hang over the PMR rack. You could make a metal base plate to help with the hang over. It is larger but if your wanting the capacity, it has it. Yea Ca. Is a mess but so is a lot of other states. Or government is a mess

They make good gear for a good price. The only thing from them I've been disappointed in is the storm rider rain suit,I always get wet in my midsection.

It’s pretty small even extended out, I have put my KLIM Carlsbad jacket in it but it was a tight fit.

The nelson riggs RG - 1050 must be out of stock on Amazon form your link, any idea when they will be available?

Do you think the medium size (1060 sport or s2 I believe it’s called) is too big to go on the back of a dual sport? I have an 08 Yamaha wr250x. Would prefer it without a luggage rack, but if it’s necessary I’m considering the Tusk brand tail rack for $70 bucks.

Well that is what I was saying, I have used my CL-1060S for over 4 years, on and off road and it has held up perfect. Nelson Rigg puts that Lifetime warranty on them for a reason. Its good stuff

No such thing as asking to much. The 1050 & 1060 are both the same quality. The 1060 has a dome top so it will hold a little bit more, also I like that it has a rain cover. I also like the quick snaps on the 1060. I do think the 1050 looks better and it has the molly tie loops on top to tie extra thing to. It’s kind of a toss up. If I could choose and I can because I have them all, I would choose the 1050 and the 1050 is what I have on the bike now.
