This song reminds me of my aunt, she lost her baby daddy. i remember her crying so hard, she fell to her knees when she saw her baby daddy his funeral. he was the goofiest guy around, everyone in my family loved him. it broke my heart seeing her cry on his coffin, i always get a lump in my throat when i hear this, and i just remembered about this song, it’s been so long since i heard it.

20 years ago… I experienced that. I wish I had all that wasted time back. And all the money I spent on self-medicating (and on Rx when I finally was legitimately treating the depression and anxiety). But looking back, it turned out the way it should have, as we were more different than alike. Best wishes to you on moving forward.

It was a tough time when this song came out, I broke up with the only person I was ever in love with..since then it became like a routine to listen to this song. I loved him, but he spread to much negativity and toxicity that I moved out for good. I am alone but I am free and have our daughter with me. the love was real somehow. I didn't know his love wast real and loving alone isn't enough , it became a torture and I wasn't safe with him. The hatered can't go away from my mind, I never want to go through this but yet I cried when I left. I don't need pain, heartaches, abuse I just love my liberty and honesty and peace. I am living today. But the song stays with me. Because the song is beautiful
