They also got Warren sapp as an assistant on the D-Line. A very underrated pick up. As well as Damion Lewis as the Main d line coach.

They’re definitely better than last year’s team. On paper. Agree that Nebraska game is going to be huge, that stadium and fans are a tough place to play and Rhule has them going in the right direction. That said, Nebraska will be playing a team of unknowns like last year- scheme and mostly new players. It’s gonna be an intense game. Buffs season: floor is 6-6, ceiling 8-4.

The crazy thing is that CU could start 5-0 going in to face K-State and end up 6-6, or they could be 3-9 for the season.

Colorado likely makes a bowl IF everything goes well and they don’t lose a key piece for several weeks again like last year. 7-6 would be an excellent record for this team. Anything above that would be shocking. Anything below 5 wins would be shocking the other way.

I can see them being 5-0 before their first loss to K-State and they end up 6-6. I can also see them being 3-9. We'll see if Deion's learned to protect a QB; Shadeur won't survive another season taking 52 sacks.

I follow recruiting as well as more then 1 team. Last years roster wasn't that experienced. The majority of them being Mid Major transfers and HBCU players. I thought 4-8 under those circumstances was damn good. They only played Big12, Big10, and Pac12 teams, with players who had never been on P5 level, and many of the important coaches. This season, they have tons more experienced players on the roster. They have more rotation players and players that were all conference as their transfers. The WR room is crazy talented. The O-line is much bigger, and more talented and experienced. The defense has more proven play makers. The staff is NFL experienced which I think makes the players a little more attentive because this is how they've done it on the top level. And, that statement about not seeing the same things is crazy 😂, like, that's why they invented tape. Smh. Nobody on that staff will see anything they've never seen before, not even the first year DC 😂😂 this team isn't last year's team. They won't do the same things last year's team did. They have the tools to have a explosive running game. We know they can pile up yards throwing the ball, they will be more sturdy as a defense and ofcourse, they were ok on special teams last year too. I think their biggest problem will be the refs. Either they will be undisciplined or the refs will call their games like they are. With that in mind? 8 wins is the floor for this roster, and they are right, they will win straight out the box like they did last year( It's not a pivotal game for Colorado, but, Rhule probably loses his job if they lose this and he finishes in the lower half of his conference) but Colorado will be ranked , right after beating Nebraska. I think Deion was factual when he said last season, " you better get me while I'm down because this is worst we will be" this roster is much better then the 4-8. Oh, and the guys are correct. The big 12 doesn't have a dominant team. It's some good rosters for about 5 teams, and Colorado is 1. But, they don't play on paper so, I can't wait for the games to get started. ✌️💯🫡
