Saying aliens don't exist=/=saying aliens aren't on Earth. Neil has very explicitly said that he thinks aliens are real. He's just pointing out how silly it is when people think anything weird in the sky is somehow alien by default. Why don't people grasp the fact that the universe is more gargantuan than we can comprehend? There are more planets in the universe than there are grains of sand on Earth, of course there is probably life out there, but for the same reason, the idea that said life has reached our little planet in the middle of nowhere in the absolutely, incomprehensibly massive expanse of space is somewhat hard to believe, especially because they would have only discovered us in the last century at BEST, realistically speaking, because the only way they'd learn of our existence besides some completely hypothetical sci-fi tech is through radio signals, and it is ludicrously hard to believe that they would have just found us randomly. Based on what we actually know about the universe, the chances that aliens have visited the Earth are ridiculously small, not that I want to believe that, it's just the truth.

Their materials science wouldn't ever be different from ours. It's the same elements, with possibly similar substances being used for their own space/exploration materials, and even their own biology. There's almost 0 chance even advanced civilizations could make thrusters that are virtually silent, RADAR, SONAR deflectors, even with fairly exotic things like black hole engines and solar sails etc.

If others are right and they have anti-gravity technology, they can also bend light which makes it not only difficult for the eye to see, but especially difficult for cameras. These, “things” are real and they can possibly be from Earth. We just don’t have the technology. Diagnosis by exclusion if you may, but that’s often how diagnostics work anyway

wow- stumbled into a troll farm here. i guess that's what you get for writing anything on the internet. To clarify my original remarks for those of you who apparently have nothing better to do than wait for them... his 'blind spot' is not admitting, in his framing of the ufo issue, that MAYBE the laws of physics as we understand them *JUST MIGHT BE INCOMPLETE* and play a factor in how these things get around. but please explain to me how stupid i am for thinking that we don't have everything figured out.

They would have an odd tendency of crashing on Earth. For some reason they never want to land and walk around. They’re secretly watching us while flying around at night with more lights on than a Walmart. Plus here’s the kicker. They almost exclusively are found in white neighborhoods. I would imagine if white people were behind these crafts they would go around places they know and relate to. Like white people generally watch white shows and listen to white music. That same bias would go for where they fly these crafts. I have never not once heard about a ufo flying around in a hood in America. Over a 100 years and not once but Bob and Ashley see them all the time in their backyard. I wonder why???

He is not factoring in the ridicule and stigma that keeps civilians and military personnel, silent when they do have sightings. If you talk to members of your family and friends, one on one in a private setting, chances are 5% to 10% of them have seen a UFO/UAP at some point in their life. In 2007, I got 2 digital photos of a large disc, hovering near the White Sands area of New Mexico. I did not see with my own eyes-only saw it once I viewed the photos a couple of hours later. I told handful of family and friends most didn’t believe me. a few thought It was highly anomalous. I ended up, reporting it to something like MUFON and posting the pictures to a paranormal website and detailing. My account. But no one ever reached out to me nor did I expect that they would. Far as I know my photos haven’t been used to crowd source research on the UFO/UAP phenomenon at the federal level. I know of several other people who have seen UFOs/UAPs but it was back in the 60s, 70s or 80s. They didn’t have cell phones at that time they didn’t have digital cameras. And those who have witnessed UAPs during the cell phone age don’t always hve the presence of mine or enough time to take a picture of the object. I like Neil Degrasse Tyson, but at times I find he is willfully ignorant on certain topics. I wouldn’t say he’s wrong here, so much as he’s really not accounting for all the reasons why people don’t report UFOs/UAP. He doesn’t account for the fact that there are people who have gone public, and they’ve been ridiculed and ostracized, and this is been going on for decades. Only very recently, has the embargo on truth been lifted and pilots are being encouraged to report encounters and sightings of anomalous craft in the skies. Also,. People tend not to watch the skies. So yes, a lot of activity can get messed.

Really it’s people nowadays with phones.. If they don’t have them recording or in their hand at the time of the siting, then they won’t get a photo or video, why? Well because I seen one last year and I was so surprised and dumb founded that I didn’t want to look away because I was afraid that when I looked back that it would be gone. I seen I craft teleport across the sky and then into space where it beamed off at FTL.

No, he knows, just based on the number of stars and the number of galaxies there are in the visible universe, there has to be other sentient life out there. But, the cosmological distances are so great, the possibility of Earth being visited by extra terrestrial beings is so remote its almost non existent.

How do we know whatever lifeforms are out there are not 1000 years ahead or 10000 years ahead of our technology and science that may travel based on gravity and dimensions instead of conventional propulsion and measuring things in terms of light years. We are so egotistical in that aspect to think the way he mentioned. It's like before there were airplanes ✈️ if we told people riding on horseback that a giant metal sheet would be able to transport people over great distances those ancient civilizations would laugh in disbelief and say something similar to what Neil just said. In fact, there are massive evidence in the government and actually are in discussion and in review of that evidence with military officials and pilots such as Ryan Graves among other credible professionals with visual evidence of technology that no country has. It could be something.

We all know the chances of life form exist among those billions of stars is high, but the possibility of them being high intelligent and visiting us is just bs.. Earth is too small, if Im high intelligence alien that have a capability to invade a planet, earth wouldnt even in be my book list to visits😂 There are millions of planets that have much better condition and high resources and energy. Invading earth is just useless, wasting my energy and resources because your solar system is pretty much basics, you humans used up a lot of your planet resources, yet you cant even step foot on your next door planet mars, like whats the point??
