Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp founded Farm Aid in 1985 and serve on the board of directors. The three agreed that family farmers were in dire need of assistance and decided to plan a concert for America.
Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's Board of Directors in 2001 to help further Farm Aid's mission of keeping family farmers on their land.

I play and sing this song around a family camp fire place along with friends. Just by myself. They think I'm crazy. So, I thank them for that.

full of typical jam session musician fails.....dodgy rock n roll endings and terrible drummer roll end fails awful out of tune solos wit gtr not quite in tune, chord clashing, no space in the song, no dynamics, everyone loud as fik ,a bass play the seems in his own world, who cant really play ,a gtr play over-dancing around like over excited children with their idol not quite getting it right ,and general all round band confusion.....crowd went wild ! says it all
man, i remember being 14/15 years old and hearing this for the first time cranked up on the "hi-fi" as my parents called it.....changed my world!!!
