It's April 15th 2024. I'm leaving this here as a message to anyone who reads this. Cherish all the important people in your lives. We never know when their clocks will end. Some live longer than others. Most Importantly cherish your loved ones. Today marks the final chapter of someone important to me. I'm tired of everyone dying. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones.

It’s so true, you never know when your last breath will be. I just got out of the doctors office, I am fortunate enough that the news that I got today were good news. The last couple of weeks had been really tough for my mind. This weeks made reflect a lot about what I’m doing with my life. About how much I really love my family and much I love living. It might sound silly but many times we just take life for granted but it’s not. Life is full of good and bad surprises. Sending you a big hug🫂 🤍

All the most important people in my life are gone now! I envy the Dead!
My little brother was 36 years old when he decided to stop the dialysis he had been on for 2 years, while waiting for a kidney. None of us brothers and sisters were even allowed to be tested to be a donor because more than half of us were also diabetic, and it was just a matter of time before the other half would be too. So we took him home. All he would do was listen to Niel Young music. By the 3rd day of him being home he began to slip into a coma. I was so burnt out just listening to these songs over and over, so I decided to change the CD. All of a sudden my brother says "Turn that back on" omg I didn't even know he was still aware of what was going on around him. So I put it back on. His absolute favorite song was Heart of Gold. My brother passed away that day as Niel Young sang his favorite songs. At his funeral we had " Heart of Gold" as the theme. A giant gold heart made of flowers was laid upon his coffin, and as they lowered him into the ground Heart of Gold was playing in the background. My little brother did have a Heart of Gold. If he thought there was even an iota of a chance for him to get that kidney I know he would have held on longer. Nothing worked to ease his pain. He had eye surgery two different times because he had lost his vision. Being diabetic since he was 11years old had ruined all his other organs by the time he was 25. So he said he was done, couldn't do it anymore. He was tired ,and tired of being tired . At that point he wasn't even living anymore, just existing day to day. In closing I'd like to say thank you to Mr.Young for the gift of awesome music. Your music was the last thing he heard and the last words he ever spoke was him telling me to " turn that back on". I miss you baby brother, Rest in Peace with your big ol HEART OF GOLD!!

I'm putting together a collection of my favorite songs from 1972. When I was 16 I got an old junk car from a farmer that was abandoned in his field. It was a 58 Impala rag top, I fixed it up, installed an 8track player in it, bought 'Top Hits Of 72' and thus began the greatest year of my life! To this day the music of 72 has remained my favorite music ever!

god this song is hitting so hard with me right now. i recently got my heart broken (in a big way, in a lot of ways), and i'm still hurting. this song speaks to the part of me so desperate for a love that loves me the way i love them. i want to give my entire heart, body and soul to someone, but it seems that somehow isn't enough, or is too much. i just want to find the one, the one who gets it, and i so stupidly thought i did, but here i am again, without it, without them. despite the raw hurt i believe in true love still, i refuse to believe that humans have centuries of art about something that doesn't exist. it has to be out there, and i will wait everyday for it to come to me. true love is not a fantasy. i think this pain is the price we all must pay, everyone gets their heart broken sometimes, and that's all so we can find the one to take care of our heart as we deserve, it's out there, i'm waiting, i'm gonna get it.

I watched the nationwide showing of the movie last night, Harvest Time, about the making of this album. It was OUTSTANDING. Encore showing on 12/4/22 selected theaters.
Reminds me of my son who died of cancer 3 years ago of cancer, 31 years old. He loved music and taught himself to play the guitar. He had this song as his ringtone on his phone...miss him so much...
My dad listened to this song all the time when I was a kid. I lost him to suicide 20 years ago. Now my kids listen to it
I was listening to this song during a very hard time in my life where I was in an abusive relationship. I’m glad I left when I did before my life had ended right infront of my eyes. I listen to this song and it reminds me of the lonely days where my heart was full of pain
No matter how old this song is I love it
Cherish everyday, dont let the hearts of gold get lost in the noise. Theyre out there, need more attention.
One of my all-time favorite songs: EVER!!! So very meaningful and heartfelt truth.....Bravo, Neil Young. Rock on, Jesus! 😊❤

I absolutely LOVE this song.....thanks so much Neil xxy Yvette
One of my favorite albums of Neil’s, still have it he can sure play that harp, eh?,,,keep searching,,,♥️
This wasn’t the song I was searching for but it’s the song I found.
This reminds me of my grandpa. He grew up in extreme poverty but built himself up through hard work fixing roads during the year and driving a snow plower during winter. He regularly worked 12 hours a day and travelled 2 hours to work, so he was basically 20 hours away from home. He had 3 daughters and 7 grandkids. After he retired and whenever we'd gather up for Christmas or any other big occasion he'd always stand at the edge of the room near the window, smoking a pack of course. He'd wait for all of us to have our fill and then he'd eat the leftovers when we went home because he didn't want us to miss on any of the food.
How the heck can anyone not love This one! Neil you’re da man dude! Love ya❤
Such a soulful song.😮👍👊😍😊
Still searching 💛
Great song
Absolutely one of the greatest popular music songs ever, it is not even close to debatable.
Thank you Neil💯💛
This album is obviously an all time classic but recently it has put my 3 month old asleep every single time. It's his voice and the harmonica I think. It has become my favourite album of all.
I listened to this when it first came out on vinyl.....it's final....and the best, at 71 now what, I still think he's a treasure
A beautiful girl next to my room in my dorm used to play this nonstop on her record player every night & I could not get enough of it, just like her!!! My fav’ of Neil Young’s repertoire!!! What everyone is looking for until they find it!!! That heart of gold!
This is the Best one ever I love it so much
