As a Muslim one thing I can definitely confirm is hygiene is crucial in our religion. Certain parts of our bodies we only touch with our left hand, others with our right. We dont play when it comes to cleanliness

For example, you cannot enter the mosque without wudu , you cannot touch quran without wudu, you aren't allowed to perform prayer without wudu, basically that is why it is said that cleanliness is half faith because cleanliness is required for most stuff in Islam so dont go around saying stuff you dont properly know about, im not fighting just saying dont misguide people, hope Allah give you hadayah

You have to understand cleaning multiple times a day can damage skin over the years . Skin has it's own line of defense as outer layer covering. 2 showers a day is best. From head to toe. In luke warm water. it cleanses aura as well.

As a Nigerian, i can guarantee you that the middle class Americans don't shower more than the middle class Nigerian, judging from a streets interview of Americans i saw few years ago about when was the last time they took a bath. The results were shocking!

Im not sure if the languages in Nigeria make a distinction between a bath and a shower, but they're not synonymous. People generally shower far more often than they do taking a bath simply because it gets you more clean and uses less water. But no, we don't take baths very often, but we shower daily, generally speaking.

The three pronged test was a necessity in bygone days when wells and oases were common, in order to test if the water was polluted or contaminated..

As someone who lives near the equator, we take our showers 2-3 times DAILY. I’ve lived in the US, and people there take a shower once a day max, especially during winter.

The ablution is needed whenever it is broken, which could be from sleep, passing wind, defecation/urination, sexual intercourse/evacuation (this requires ghusl/ritual cleansing full body), excessive bleeding and other things. If these things haven't happened, and you made wudu, you don't need to do it before the next prayer. But if YOU do wudu each time, there's nothing wrong with that either.

He took the two stones and threw away the dung and said: "This is Riks." (Sahih) Your prophet was DUMB and illiterate 100% facts. He washed his hands with water but his bum with 3 stones LOL. Then the JEWS taught him how to properly clean and he copied them hahaha

I can’t thank Allah enough for blessing me with this beautiful religion! Purity and cleanliness are prerequisites for so many of our daily practices. We make Ablutions at least five times a day. We eat with only right hand (unless we absolutely can’t due to any problems) because we wash our private parts with our left hand. Once we are done doing our “bathroom business” we thoroughly wash our hands. It is HIGHLY recommended to trim your nails on regular basis so you dont get dirt and germs in them and transfer them into your food. Men and women both are obligated to remove hair from their private areas on regular basis (at least once a month). I would never have it any other way. Alhumdulillah! ❤️

In my religion we wash ourselves 7 times a day. 7 is also the holy number. But we are superior and the true followers of god anyway. So you better check yourself before you end up in darkness.

Not just daily but five times a day depending on the situation if your previous wudu is not valid.

It’s also Islamic tradition(a practice of the Prophet p.b.u.h) to thoroughly wash the hands up-to the wrists before eating. Which helps fight off any germs or viruses a person may have picked up

Even a drop of urine can invalidate your pray . So we are very cautious about impurity (nijasah ). Hygiene is very important. It’s highly recommended before going to Friday pray . Take shower ( Friday ghusl ) cut nails . Remove pubic hairs .

Sounds a lot, right? But actually, unlike showering, wudu only takes a minute or two because it only targets certain parts of body not whole 😁

Muslims are ahead of the game for many Divinely inspired rituals. If they all followed, we would rule the world by now.. it’s coming soon inshAllah

We don't clean ourselves for prevention from something but we follow the order of Allah.

Also we wash our back side too.

If you mean the neck then you should know that this is an invention, Sunnah states that we only wash the hands (x3), the mouth (x3), the nose (x3), the face (x3), the forearms (x3), the hair (x1), the ears inside and out (x1), the feet including between the toes (x3) That's it

​@@kuroneko7724 you can do wudhu 5x a day, if you break it between the salahs. You can do it before going to sleep. or after being intimate, if you don't bathe immediately. It's actually limitless. Depends on how many times you break it. But, prophet Muhammad (saw) also said, to protect yourselves from over zealousness. Incase one starts having OCD. Moderation is the key.

Yes, the word is ablution and it takes place before each of the 5 mandatory daily prayers, it’s also called the small ablution, the big one is where one must wash their whole body (ie after marital intercourse) There also other situations where a Muslim should have an ablution,

It doesn't have to be before each prayer, if you did it once its enough as long as you don't nullify it by farting or going to the bathroom to do your business or release sperm.

Thats wudhu. Performing a wudhu b4 praying is a must . The ghusul (ghusl) is cleaning wholebody . Just like taking a bath.

As a muslim i can say that praying 5 times a day and cleaning ourselves litterally saved us during the pandemic.

I remember my history teacher telling me that when I’m the west love expectancy was 35 in the Muslim world it was double simply because their hygiene standards were very high and they would clean their body 5 times a day!

we do it 5 times a day, AT 5 am, 2pm 5 pm 7 pm and 9pm.. 👍🏻

i did hear about this sunda mandi...but i can't remember it being myself Indonesian..

it’s done five times in a day. in desert environment in particular but also generally performing ablution would take care of the ENT problems. steps for ablution wash hands, rinse mouth and gargle, put water in nose and sniff so water gets to throat, wash face, wash both arms till elbows, clean ears, wet hands and roll over head and neck and finally wash both feet till ankles

This is done 5 times a day for me, Because you have to clean up before praying. This just makes Islam the one and only religion for human kind.

Muslims clean themselves before their prayers which is 5 times daily. But that doesn’t protect us from getting sick. Cleanliness is a major part of our life though.

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "If there was a river at the door of anyone of you and he took a bath in it five times a day would you notice any dirt on him?" They said, "Not a trace of dirt would be left." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "That is the example of the five prayers with which Allah blots out (annuls) evil deeds."Sahih al-Bukhari 528 In-book reference : Book 9, Hadith 7

As a muslim that's why its the best religion Allah knows what's best for us even in wadu

Cleanliness is half of our faith. If you know a Muslim that prays his/her daily prayers that person is extremely hygienic TRUST.

5 times per day when not traveling, and 3 times per day when traveling. Minimum. Unless you have kept you hygiene in between then you're exempt.

I am proud to be turkish and muslim if we talk about cleanliness. Turkish people take it to the next level.

I’m from the Caribbean and I can definitely say we shower more than Americans…at least twice a day everyday for us tropical people

Ablution 5 times a day. ✋ No Prayer if the Pubic & Arm Pit hairs grows more than half an inch. ✋ Hygiene is a Must to be a Muslim ✋

Until and unless you take the word "shower" in its literal sense then I guess maybe Americans have more "showers" (which is also extreme wastage of water, almost more than 6 buckets if I remember correctly). But I'm definitely sure people from Asia and Africa take bath regularly and use buckets (usually 2 or 3) and it saves water and is enough to keep you clean
