A big thanks to the men risking their lives to save the baby and to the men who broke into the apartment to rescue him. You can hear when they broke inside the apartment to get to the baby. Where were the parents? Or the nanny? Or whoever was suppose to be watching this infant?

I thought about this kind of thing the other day and I still as a mother of a toddler who does things dangerous like tries to hang out the second story window and jump off of high places andclined things he shouldn't and the news are not stable... My son would never have the chance to do this so I will continue to judge parents like this and everybody shold. Public humiliation works wonders

4 men. I don’t think the 2 guys that pull the baby I lives there. 🤔 there is too much noise from the street level. The baby was probably crying. Parents would have looked out the window 🪟 to see the commotion. I think the baby was left alone but they under estimate how smart he is. For the rescue: you can tell that is a smart kid. He was fully aware of the situation at such as young age.

I think the baby was alone in the apartment. If you listen closely, you can hear glass shattering right before those people save the baby. I’m pretty sure those people had to break into the apartment to save the baby

Is not unusual in some countries (China) to leave children or toddlers home alone. They lock them inside and have bars around windows able balconies. I'm a westerner, and it freaks me out, but this happens because parents need to work or whatever. By 5 yrs old some kids are cooking for themselves and doing chores. It's just the way it is.

This happened back in 2022. Apparently the parents were not home. The baby all by itself crawled to the window where he then was hanging by his head. The neighbors helped from below the apartment all the way down to the street in case the boy fell. Other neighbors broke into the apartment to be able to rescue the little boy from the window. Edit: I’ve looked into more of the story and I don’t see anything about a grandmother being locked out of the home. This sort of thing with dangling children happens extremely often in China so it may be that some people maybe be confusing this story with another.

The older brother caused trouble for their grandmother (in charge) and ran out of the home and they both became locked out of the residence. If anything their government needs to reintroduce new guildlines on window gaurds. Much like how window canopies for infants are banned in the US.

I don't think there was anyone home at all. Those men that picked up the boy didn't seem like caretakers. Or else they would've immediately saved the child once they heard the cries. They were probably neighbors who barged into the home when they were notified of the problem. The only thing I could speculate is that the homeowner went out for awhile.

I agree. And why is there a hole on balcony floor?! They need to cover that up with something that won't come off so easily. I'm guessing that piece of wood was above at one time...Hands clap to having neighbors that care.

I’ve helped pull people from vehicles that crashed and were still moving forward (mind you with a cast on my dominant hand and wrist up to my elbow) and have had to shoot someone in defense of another before and I’m not a cop or anything remotely close. There are countless everyday hero’s in America and all over the world. Such an ignorant and high and mighty point of view you have there.
