I had this lamb at Da Emma. One of the best meat dishes of my life. No. No. Let me rephrase that. THE BEST meat dish of my life. Magnifico. 5 STARS.

These dishes look wonderful! My grandma was Belgium / French / English and this reminds me of her awesome peasant old school cooking that was full of simple earthly pleasure and love!

Love the food scene in Montreal. As a teenager I got a job in a restaurant on St. Paul, west of Place J-C. Crazy nights.

Grain de Sel is way out of the main neighborhoods. C’est magnifique. Midi Express is in the Plateau. Super.

Stay away from all these fancy schmancy restaurants, only snobs go to these places just to show-off to others. And by the way, all over priced restaurants in Old Montreal.
