ACTUALLY , if you notice no one cuts their hair anymore if they are stylish . The old school thinking of older women should have a short hair style is Soo dated . I have a chin length Bob only bc l have such fine straight hair that if l grow it any longer it clumps up like spaghetti. I wish at my old age of 68 wish that l could grow my hair longer like my friends that sport ponytails in this hot summer heat.

It was fun to watch you on a Sunday. Love to Gizmo. Good for you, Jerry, telling the salty folks to send a pic of themselves along with their salty comments.

So there are artists that take the seed pods and draw things on them and paint them. They do the same with the base of royal palm fronds. We have some of those hanging around our home.

It’s interesting to me that I find you true and your descriptions of life so interesting when I’m not interested in going there at all. Ha ha. I am 82 years old. Well I’m really 83 just in a few weeks and I’m retired in my hometown, which is only 20,000 people rather rural, I want to stay right here. Oh I love my cottage but I love listening to you. I don’t even go to Florida anymore at all and have only one cousin left on there. But I love listening to you.

I live very near the Smokey Mountains. If you have bears coming thru they are going to have to rethink their trash pickup. Leaving trash bags out without being in a can is an invitation for bears to come and have dinner.

Hi Jerry and Linda, I'm almost 60 and love your videos! We would love to move down to TV, but we're fostering kids here in Georgia, and our commitment will keep us here for at least 5 more years! As a request, it would be nice if you can dedicate a section of your show to highlight a different club weekly in TV. Since there are 3000 clubs, I'm sure you can get a lot of "juicy" material there! Who knows, we may eventually move down to TV! 🙂

There is a third putt and play at the First Responders Rec Center. It is very challenging! Linda, I can’t believe you pay that much for a hair cut! Hope Gizmo is all better soon.

Yes, there are Black Bears rarely, Bobcats rarely, Alligators often in the ponds and lakes, Coyotes sometimes in various areas, Squirrels often in many areas, and occasionally Cotton-tail Rabbits, Foxes, Opossums, and other animals - even White Tailed Deer very rarely and mostly in the marshlands! Imagine.

Hey Jerry and Linda, I gotta admire that new Designer Homes are “upwards of 3/400 thousand “. I live in Southern California, that price would get you a fixer upper here. If it weren’t for the humidity ( and now a days,, your Florida politics) we old move there. I have family in Florida and know it’s a beautiful area. I’m sure there are many of Floridians who feel the same about So California. Lol. Glad there are places for everyone.

You haven't really lived until you have had Vidalia onion rings cut nearly 3/4" think & soaked in buttermilk for several hours before breading & deep frying or air fryer!!! Yummy for sure.

I am afraid of bears too. But I do love Vidalia onions! I get my hair cut at Supercuts about 3 times a year. I ask for a layered inverted bob. And then I trim my bangs in between cuts. I also trim the length in the back to freshen it. I started doing all my own cutting during the pandemic.

Loved your video as always! Had to check my calendar though, lol. Thought I’d slept through Sunday. 😂 I’m wondering about the beginning of the video where right after the music intro ended Linda was immediately talking about places to go for entertainment. Great "EARLY" show. The portion sizes when we were there were more than enough. We would order an appetizers for dinner and share them. We ate our big meal at lunch and were always full.

Pleasantly surprised to see mailbag Monday on Sunday morning. Of course everyday is Saturday when you live in The Villages. Loving every minute here.

Been in Ocala for 3 years. I will be headed to The Villages for 6 months. Summer rent is cheaper !! See you when I get there.

We (with a community pool) in Indiana, always have people sneaking into our pool. Ladies putting door stoppers in, but the funniest one was our neighbor who saw their kid's friend there (with their parents). The parents didn't expect to get caught, and well the excuses just kept coming. If they just would have come WITH the friend, it wouldn't have been so awkward.

I go every Wednesday to Sumter Square to the market night just for my weekly larger bag of Kettle corn

When I rented here in 2011-12 they gave me a one years past each time which I could use as a residence, like cheaper movie tickets and only a $4 cart fee at the executive course and other thinks. When I came back last year I was proud to get my picture residence card.
