I have experienced this situation a few times after weight loss surgery but none as severe as this. low blood sugar crisis can happen to anyone, not just weight loss surgery patients but it is not talked about enough in our community. These situations normally happen to me after a workout session.

I've had this happen over the year's and it's the worst.. I have a bloog glucose monitor and ketone monitor. Coming from a family history of diabetes knowing my journey.. It's hit or miss!

Yeah from now on I’m going to start eating before I workout and I am going to get a glucose monitor to keep in the house. But hopefully it doesn’t happen again

@@JaneeLeeSanders yeah I myself just rejoined the gym and have always done fasted workout because I myself just can't eat first thing in the morning.. But I found even if it's just a low carb tortilla with a slice of turkey and cheese just to have something on my sleeve helps get me thru and I can also take my vitamins.. I can't take them on a empty stomach at all! I have this pregnancy regain to lose so I'm back on the grind to drop -50lbs
Dumping syndrome happens and effects us all in different ways.. I have always been told dumping doesn't happen for vsg and only bypass.. They got that wrong cause it happens

Oh they definitely have it wrong because I know a ton of people who are sharing their journey on TikTok, myself included (@janeeleesanders), that has experience dumping syndrome after the sleeve.
