Is this what Tamilnadu wants to hear about and debate? A very artificial distinction of village women and urban women was made here. I watched the show out of curiosity and endured it. A most poorly informed audience and host. I think it was just the way the members of the audience were hand picked. A deliberate black and white distinction was strived and projected. Women must be and are defined by their individual CORE VALUES. Universal qualities such as courage, compassion, hard work, honesty belong to both and does not depend on whether they come from a village or a city. Shows like this take Tamilnadu a century backwards. I feel very sad.

What is wrong with this show? Why is Neeya Naana restricting itself to such small topics. There are so many issues affecting the world . Why can't you open your eyes and discuss that. You want to be Global Tamizhan then talk global or even national issues. Summa all the husbands, wives, mamiyar, macchan nonsense. A Talk show must help audience to understand global issue or something significant enough to improve our lives. Should India intervene? 3)Which Economic Model is Better : China or India? 4) Why India is not the most startup friendly nation? 5) Why Indian Railway is Suffering? What needs to be done? 6) What Israel did in Gaza ? Is it Justified? 7)Can Indian space programme reach NASA level? 8)How to bring Internet Access to Rural people? Study how facebook and google plan of bringing internet to the remotest areas? 9)How can we promote Tamil globally? 10)Why our Education system does not promote innovation? Why not feature films not doing any of these so called intellectual topics. Then they will be called documentary and will be limited to small audience. If Vijay TV does only on these topics then neeya naana would be addressing only the so called intellectual audience. Still Gopinath is doing good job. He is also picking some of the topics you mentioned in a different way. There was one on how and why every one are interested in studying English Medium. We can discuss about promoting Tamil globally in English.
