Making a piece with wool felt can result in a sparse texture.
You want to have a beautiful fur like an animal, but it will look like a stuffed animal.
There is a trick to implanting hair and making the fur look beautiful.
It is to harden the foundation and properly remove unwanted hair.
And when cutting, always use sharp scissors.
Even this alone will change the finish ☆

こんばんは😃 私も６月末に17年連れ添った猫さんが旅立ちました。今はペットロスの真っ最中です。何とかあの子にもう一度会いたくて不器用ながらフェルト猫にチャレンジしております。 でも、難しい‼️ 何度もやり直しって感じです。 この作業をする事で気持ちの整理をしています。

lol my grandmother used to make christmas ornaments very similarly, she'd make cardinals out of polystyrene christmas balls, she was no where near as good as you, she'd often use glue or soap and her works where more often fuzzy than hairy.

Thank you! I noticed that there’s space between the implanted hairs. I think, I would have implanted the wool tighter. Is there a reason why you left space?☺️ BTW, I bought a brush (I asked you about it) and it’s great. I live to needle felt dogs, horses and guinea pigs☺️
