Needle-felting a Harvest Fairy with an Embroidered Jacket
September brings new beginnings and so many to-do lists, but finding a bit of time to relax and craft, creates balance in busy times. This needle-felted fairy will bring a ray of late summer sunshine to you and yours!
The jacket on this wee fae is inspired by the amazing needlework created by artist, Sally Mavor.

Thank you so much!! I first saw Sally’s work in Massachusetts and was enchanted!! Lucky you to see her new exhibit!!
I was just going to comment on how your doll reminded me of Salley Mavor's felt Wee Folk and you mentioned her. She is awesome and so are you. You both do fantastic work. TFS

I love this doll. Could you show more on making the hair?

I will definitely do more seasonal fairies. For the hair I use curly wool locks that have been dyed. They are sewn securely on and that's all. You can order curly wool locks from the Felting Farmer Lady on Etsy. Have fun!

I found your tutorial fascinating. Do you have a tutorial on how to make the burlap cushion you use to do the felting?
@the_everydayartisan
Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! The cushion is double layers of burlap for both sides, sewn together and filled with rice!! Super easy! You can also just buy small burlap bags from a craft store, double them up and sew the edges after you fill them with rice.

@@the_everydayartisan does it dull the felling needles? I’ve always used foam pads?
Nice! Your videos should be seen by more watchers. May I repost your channel without changing anything on the clean platform named Ganjing World? Thank you!

¡Gracias por contactarte! Uso guata de lana para rellenar y sentir el cuerpo de la muñeca.
