🖐ABOUT ME:
Hello! My name is Dika O'Real I am a tattoo artist and a tattoo mentor. After going through hardship of learning about tattooing on my own and struggling with apprenticeship, I made it my mission to get the best skills in tattooing along with knowledge about the tattoo industry.
I end up getting a place in on of the most famous tattoo shops in Switzerland having only 2 years of experience in tattooing, then I traveled the world with my skill and met amazing artists who shared with me their knowledge.
Tattoo studio and 3 apprentices later - I am here to share my knowledge and passion with you.
It was a tough path - but was definitely worth it. If I could achieve it - so can you!!

Hello Winter! I am pleased that my videos are of use to you. I know from my own experience how hard it can be to start tattooing that can be down to few factors/ circumstances in life. You keep doing what you doing - watch tutorials, read and ask questions. Step by step and you will get there. Maybe moving to a different city will be something that will open doors in tattoo career for you. Also if you need more help - I do 1 on 1 mentoring via Skype :)
Very good and direct visual instructions, I'm sure you've helped alot of people not destroy people's skin, thank you for sharing 🙏

Mam how to know that we are doing tatttoo in a correct layer while using Magnum cartridges because I do tatttoos after some time it look fade
@dikaoreal

Faded tattoo depends on few factors: do you use quality ink? Do you dilute it with too much water when you do shading? Do you shade magnum very fast and barely touching the skin? I will create video on shading soon, stay tuned! :)

How did you get minimal Ink spatter?
@dikaoreal
2 жыл бұрын
'Spitting' ink usually happens when your tattoo machine is not tuned perfect. Potential and very common error: needle is not tightened up with a band and 'jumps' all over inside the tip. Good luck :)
What voltage were you running with the mag
@dikaoreal
Жыл бұрын
Hello Mitchell. I use Cheyenne power supply that comes with Cheyenne machine and voltage on it is different from voltage on powersupplies for coil tattoo machines. On my Cheyenne power supply 11mag I run on voltage beyween 80-90 depending on how tough skin is. However I imagine on power supply that is made for coils I would be using voltage between 10-11, but it’s very hard to say as all power supplies very much very. I am making a video where I will be testing machines with different power suppies. Hope it will be useful for you Mitchell.

@@i-w.a.n1227 Blue plastic - is a clip cord cover - it protects your clip cord from ink/blood, keeps it clean. Tape around the grip - is a medical tape for better grip - so your hand doesn't slip on the metal. Hope it helps :)

Hi Lenine. I have ordered this specific fake skin from killerink.co.uk You can get other type of fake skin on many other online shops too. Good quality fake skin is not cheap, so you may need to shop around.

Ma'am many people say needle shouldn't come out from tube more than 2mm. I'm talking about stroke length which is needed 4mm for lining, 3.5 mm for packing and 2 to 3 mm for shading. 4mm stroke length means needle comes out from tube is just about 2mm. Plzzz give your opinion.
@dikaoreal

Hello Rahul. How far needle comes out from a tip very much depends on where on the body you will be tattooing. On this specific video when I press on the needle in the cartridge (as cartridge is not attached to the grip) needle comes out much further out than when I use it in reality (on fake skin and on a client). On average I would say for lining needle is around 3mm out of the cartridge, but only 1 - 1.5 mm is going to be in the skin. For packing and I prefer magnum needle not to be as far out as for shading. Because shading is much lighter stroke/move than packing. So I would say shading stroke is up to 4mm, packing up to 3mm max. Hope that makes sense :)
