some people on the internet say that to win this magazine you have to do the best score on the track in a single lap,so this is drift track 2 which has a best score of 177909 but you didn't do it in a single lap you did it in a single drift,do you really know the correct way to win magazine 22 ? i'm a bit confused.

@@michazmuda1477 I've already managed to win the magazine and it doesn't have to be in a single lap. If you, for example, score 50,000 drift points and cross the finish line adding points, those points will be added to the next lap making it easier to get the record.

Is there a trick to this and is this on PS2 or PC ? Is this auto or manual ? Stability on or off ? Are you breaking ever or just hitting the handbreak ? Thanks for any advice ?

Manual transmission, stability off, therefore, drifting continuously much easier. And he's only using handbrake.

Aspect ratio, and graphics and FPS say it's PC... And there is a trick to doing it, probably a perfect spot of select upgrades and mastering all aspects of the drift... Since after starting he basically loops every half lap, and almost perfectly (see patterns on ground)... There is a combination of speed angles and handbrakes that makes it so... But I can't figure out just from the video... And been trying to replicate without much success.

It would be nice if he could edit the description to add more info, such as the fact that he has manual... Only uses 2nd gear and other stats that help, such as performance upgrades and the technique used in the loop... But I guess since he never seem to reply... That's too much to ask.

@@CrisRaf I tried getting as much points as I could in one single drift in the entire race (I did this in the same event in the video), but to no avail. Turned out after my research, I have to get as many drift points in ONLY one lap.

@@KevinAbillGaming that's why he does one long string. He gets around 250k in one lap technically... But you only have to beat a set record... I already did 40k in one lap and that didn't do it... So keep trying... If you can't do it in all four laps try to at least keep a string long enough for 2 laps and try to squeeze as many points in the lap that it finished... My guess is that around 60k-80k in one lap should do the trick... But am uncertain... Could be as high as 100k... But I doubt it's as high as this guy got.

Dam1an so you think you could ever tell what performance upgrades, and settings you used for the drift? I'm trying to replicate but being unable at the moment. On the ps2 so I don't even know if they run the same. I see you use manual, and that you probably used the in game cheats to unlock a few performance upgrades since your getting to 100 km/h and that's impossible with the 6 upgrades available at that point in the career. Also is that with stability on or off... Either way I seem to be unable to control the car as fluidly as you. If you could give this reply a more in depth guide to replicate it I would very much appreciate it. Great video btw, since I'm trying to replicate this I hope you can see how amazing I think you are to be capable of figuring this out on your own.

Hi i play this is long time ago but this is not cheat for 100% mazda is amazing car for drift. First manual gear change this game give alot better times, speed automatic suck. You can always maximize RPM to increase acceleration, sometimes in normal track you can just reduce gear and instant drop speed for example in 5gear to 3 and no loss time for slowing down and have amazing turn. I think i can do little better bcs i no use trick gear change in this track just entire time in second gear bcs i no practice this alot times.

@@Zajedwabisty124 sorry if I somehow sounded rude... But I don't mean you modified the game... There are cheats that ea put in there, you just need to press a combination of buttons... And that was what I meant... So your telling me you only used the 6 stock performance upgrades unlocked by race 13? Edit: I understood in that video he uses Engine 3+U, Drivetrain 2, Tires Stock, ECU 3 + U, Turbo 3+U, Breaks 3, Weight 3, Suspension 3 and lastly Nitrous 3. With cheats provided by the developer you can unlock all level 2 upgrades in the beginning. But if you don't use you only have access for Engine 1+U, Drivetrain 1, Tires Stock(1 available but the other guide didn't have it), ECU 1, Turbo 1 and breaks 1. I want to know then you only used these upgrades? How can you reach 100kms so easily?

i think tires stock in better for drifting. IN u1 no have any change settings preformance only u2, I'm not good at explaining because I don't know English well, but while watching these companies, other KZreadrs tried it myself and it's possible, but of course I had to practice a bit. But in controller its very easier i think, keyboard its way harder for me. Anyway for all racing games controller its better:)
