Because it was recorded from a Ferrari 360. The file name also named after the 360 Modena.

That or the PC version video that was uploaded, featuring Pabloracers sound mod.
Out of the three SUV’s the Escalade handled the best. The Hummer was awful.

Ps2, GameCube and Xbox are same graphics but not quite
I love how there weren't any real supercars in NFSU. Just cars you'd casually see on the street, maybe even ones your parents owned. My mom had a Vauxhall/Opel Corsa, and it was so cool seeing her car on my PS2. But, of course, my version was way cooler! 😏

That's for the i6 and Rotary ones, Tiburon and TT use S2000's sound.

There are two version of game, the EU version with Vauxhall Corsa, and the US version with the Peugeot 106
