I'm surprised they haven't added the 992 yet even though its been out since 2019

I just want 8 party size or matchmaking at least but linkups do would be a really good way to keep the online fresh after doing couple of races and the new drift playlists are definitely a welcome but yeah while it's unique and quite cool to have a DeLorean in the game, I agree that they should've add street/car culture based cars. Anyway I'm still looking forward for the update and I hope Criterion cooks up much better update next time. Still really nice to hear though that they'll keep updating this game 👌

funny how you don't mention all the modern supercars that actually don't feel like they're street/car culture based cars, and also the bmw m1 and the ferrari testarossa, and finally lamborghini urus and other SUVs which actually don't fit the street-racing and cop chasing vibe.

I'm ok with the DMC and more quirky cars being added. Lets be real, most players will go back to the meta slave setups in 20 mins anyway so it's nice to see some variety albeit for a second

Are the servers really capped at 16? I figured I would try it out since it dropped on the Xbox Game Pass. But after completing the story, I switched to online just to find out you can't start activities because there weren't enough people to join. This happened constantly so I just did the meetups but that also gets boring real fast. Is there anymore to this game online? Am I missing something? Help me out.

After updating on PC the upsampler for the Nvidia DLSS gets bugged out with the new intel setting and FSR or turning off the setting are the only options I have now. Any information on this Problem?

I got a question, I paid $25 for the old need for speed unbound and now with this update don’t let me play at least I pay $75 for the new edition, what should I do?

I got a problem tho. In the patch notes, it said the cars you get from EA Play, the Speed Pass, and the in game store would be available in single player after the prologue. I already beat the game at 100% completion and the cars ain't there for me in the buy custom section. And the DMC DeLorean is locked. I play on the Xbox Series X too. Anybody know what's goin on?

I definitely agree with you brother I don’t play unbound too much anymore because of the insufficient content like tons of cars and customizations and small amount of payouts after race and events there’s a lot missing and it piss me off.

I was expecting an Audi ngl. NFS getting new updates is good but yeah just 1 car isn't enough, new custom body kits as paid packs and free speedpass...it's all mix and mash of different ideas just like Link Up mode which I am not a fan of. Again like Vol.2 it makes Unbound more like how it should have been on launch. Like Fast Travel/day night/cops online/etc. these are basic stuff. Anyway I like new car, bodykits, playlist, QoL changes and Speed pass is interesting. I wouldn't mind if NFS gets some form of monetization only if it's not agressive/greedy and we get more quality content and modes.

The reason they put the DeLorean in is because they want to go back to when NFS games were seriously good. But seriously, I've always found it odd that modern NFS games seem to be going "oooh, look at the supercar/classic we added" when peeps who are here for the street racing want things like the Evo 6, FTO, 3000GT, 22B, etc. But noo, you get a maybach that weighs the wrong side of two tonnes!

It’s not drastically different by any means. Honestly it has depended heavily on the car. But yea it’s still not that great, but it’s technically better than before. The oversteering issue is still there, but I’ve noticed more of my cars are a little more responsive to prevent spinning out. I do normally go for brake tap to drift. Hopefully this helped!

I think doing QoL fixes and adding game modes as Criterion have been doing add so much more than just cars as The Crew 2 and Forza Horizon have mostly done for a while now. I never want to hop on TC2 despite the great cars because I think it's a shit game. I know you don't like it either CJ. I do think Unbound's updates could be faster, but this update is easily the best one since anything made for NFS 2015. Why don't we achknowledge the gameplay changes more when we complain about it so much when it comes to FH and TC2?

The gameplay additions are great and they will keep me playing Unbound for time to come, but the updates are too infrequent. I'm not saying every update needs to be massive, but NFS is being beaten by it's competition.

i going to have fun with the game regradless how big the problem is cause all i want is to have fun nothing else

But the real question is… Will nfs unbound vol 4 have playable cops?

Which is why I love Need for Speed and why I want it to do better. Because it does underground street racing still unlike The Crew and Forza.

I played this game 400hrs and unlocked everything on- and offline. Now I restartet the game, got lvl reset to zero and saw the shop with mtx. I just erased it for good 👍🏻

Your level resets but you earn 5000$ for each level you had before the update. That system has been replaced with the levels from the new pass.

I'm ready for the crew and test drive anything else , yes not even the cops the unique feature in NFS will keep me playing this game..same formula , lame post support thas being plaguing this series since 2015. Is the same runaround for years.

I haven’t touched this game since I deleted it a couple weeks after I first beat it. Since then I have missed absolutely nothing important or exciting.

Bruh... There is no competitors, wtf are you talking about? The Crew Motorfest not even released... Crew 1 and 2 is... not completely dead? Anyway Forza Horizon (which i don't like for handling model, not arcade enough, not simulator enough, just not for me) is very different and crew is Forza Horizon, but from Ubisoft. And... What? For me, they are not competing, with any NFS, they are not that type of game. If i don't want to play NFS than i can get same expirience from... LEGO 2k Drive? Hot Wheels Unleashed? Nah, different. Maybe Asseto Corsa, Gran Turismo 7, CarX, Forza Motorsport, iRacing, Dakar? It's all lim(simcades)->simulators. Wtf should Unbound compete with?????????????? Take an example from WHAT? Forza with literally no visual tuning? Or from Gran Turismo? What are you comparing it with? (Also, NFS Rivals?!?!?!? For real? You serious? It's not even a game, it's like tech demo, stub of the normal game, an experement, not even finished\properly made one, thanks for EA) But speedpass is weird, i agree. And payouts still low and work not as great. System of unlocking cars is shit too, grindy as f*ck and just broken. Lobby system have issues but overall i like it more than Forza. Criterion need to play their game and understand all issues)

@@CraptasticJack it literally does, because people, who playing FH5 with bear in their hands after work (and they are actually most of the console players), don't play any games. FH5 and NFS Unbound is the same for them. I will be very happy if there was any competitor for NFS Unbound, but competing with FH5 is bad for the game. They are just different, and deliver different gaming expirience and when people trying to compare it than you know humanity is lost. For me it's as stupid, as comparing WoW and Dark Souls or even Elden Ring.
