These beta graphics would hold up but the final games graphics look very blurry and lighting is not that good as e3 build.. No the game doesnt hold up to this day.....

After all these years the police helicopter is still terrifying. Heat 10, 250,000 chased by hypercars with that helicopter sat above you blinding you with the search light.

I could only imagine if the game came like this especially with the new consoles now my god

The game looks sick in 2018 but the E3 was still kind of better, you could see the rain droplets on the car a bit more in the E3 version, also the lighting was more cold and realistic. and the reflections were stronger on E3

Honestly, you could code this as a sort of "jump-in" mechanic where you can park in time-limited areas and wait for the racers to pass. But man, what a shame. Least the rest of the game is great.

Are there any "jump-in" mechanics like this in the final game? there's just something cool about watching the racers past by at full speed and then you just join in the action. Unlike in Payback and in Heat where it's just plain start the race kuno.

I agree with this 100%. NFS: Underground 2 was great. I had so many great cars customized on there and was fun as hell.

Notice how the cop player slows down when he's next to the racer

YAY FERARRI!!!

but that's the problem we already had a sort of underground 3 on the current gen and it was called pro street where you could customise your cars and that, was it fun to play you ask yourself.

the trailer looks so dam good! its a shame the game doesn't!

but you was comparing pro street and underground but like I said before they were two different variations on NFS I would be happy with another underground if they went back to the formula they had with the mix and match customization parts different type of races etc the only thing that would improve is by adding cops

I think in the underground the player starts his adventure and then he escapes at the city at most wanted. At the start of most wanted there's a character that also says "Look what the underground left to us" and at the end he escapes from the police and goes back to the original town of the underground games at the carbon game and there he is finally free. That's what i remember, correct me if i am wrong.

@Granatoje Brezar No but it really does tho? Look at pc benchmarks of low and max graphics. Absolutely minimal differences. I don't see where it looks worse, I built my pc a while ago got this game kn it and it looks as marvelous is I thought it did back in 2014. I don't see it.

Yes and no, they took a bit of the intensity out, made it brighter...toned down the flashing lights..the helicopter pushing down the tree doesn't happen

Sorry but i never played underground games (i was too young) but i am pretty sure there won't be an underground 3 coming back because that storyline has ended with the need for speed carbon. If i remember correctly first was Nfs underground then nfs underground 2, nfs most wanted and last was nfs carbon.

its sad how game developers always say that they read forums and listen to fans so why they never make NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND 3 i will never play another racing game till i get the right one...

If they could at least fix all bugs, that would be great.

Low sales/ pre-orders for this game = a good chance of changing EA policy on NFS series. Prob they'll listen to fans then, and make: a) smth like underground with all the things we already know; b) smth like classic era NFS games with exciting racer career, tournaments, tour trophies etc.

how is pro street anything like underground? one was illegal street racing the other was closed circuit racing, one of the main reasons why I like underground is because there were no super cars for example the Bugatti veyron in it and it was fun tuning up normal cars and the freedom of choosing what you wanted on your car and how it would end up looking
