Honestly, doesn't take long to finish the story. Only issue I have encountered is the cops, which are 10x better than in payback.

@@alifaiman1851 I would say in a bad way. Because to compensate for a short story, they made the leveling and money grind harder. This is the reason that I believe that we got health bars for our own car. Because it slows you down in the beginning when you got no horses and a shit box to drive. But on the other hand, cop chases are very intense in the beginning. I can tell you that I failed a lot of the cop chases at the start (I would say about 70% of them), because they climb to "Heat level 3" very quickly.

The car was taken from Darius when it was "totaled" and to my theory he used it and hot caught and the car got impound and shipped to palm city and Mercer knew that the car was way wanted and had so much heat on it and kept it and replace the engine from it's old one if it was totaled and can't been used .so yea 13 years abandoned car been illegally impounded

Thank God I didn't watch this video before playing the final mission. That moment the M3 GTR busted out of nowhere was epic. I knew it was in the game, but I didn't expect Mercer to drive it as his last resort to escape.

An unknown individual gets his hands on the BMW M3 GTR that was totalled in Palmont City. He manages to keep the car and take it out on a date or two until Mercer had a good eye to take it as his own. Then he notices it's potential, it's faster than the rest that he's stolen. It just takes the right driver, his fatal mistake was thinking he could tame it as if he were the legend that once owned it in 2005 - us. And it's back in our hands, and she hasn't changed one bit since we left her. Edit: Even if it was made up and accounting that there's no real explanation as to how they got the M3 GTR, the theory i made here is the most realistic way to put it. Cross, Wolf of Carbon's TFK and the Blacklist being mentioned as well as some of it's members a part of the final race of Payback basically makes the M3 being there canon instead of just EA feeding nostalgia to the fans. NFS has a universe between Underground 1&2, Most Wanted, Carbon, Pro Street, The Run, Undercover, 2015, Payback and now - Heat. It's actually cool that they're keeping up the timeline.

Well considering the devs couldnt give less of a fuck about the game, considering how awful need for speed games have been these past few years, they couldnt give less of a shit about lore, they just wanna lazily pander to old fans by randomly throwing in the M3 GTR.

Oh god they re-did the M3's famous transmission whine and it's amazing

And after all these years the BMW M3 GTR remains the most iconic car of the franchise, incredible.

Man that Huracan Performante is an eargasm, finally they got the V10 sounds spot on!! 😍😍

Those straight cut gears though... IVE HAD A CRISIS!

I only got to play this amazing game last week. Although the story was pretty short, it was awesome. But, because of the grinding, I was giving it a 7/10... Until 7:18 came up. I rewatched this scene over 10 times, and still all of the hair in my body freaking stands up. It has been years since a game shook me this hard, and I know it's 100% because of nostalgia. But damn did they deliver it! When I saw that you had to beat the game to be able to buy the M3 gtr, I thought "oh, it's probably just a trophy car, nice touch". No. They made it the freaking spotlight of the finale, a love letter for every 2005 MW fan out there. 10/10
