Need For Speed 2016 PC gameplay using a fully upgraded 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI with keyboard and manual transmission. It has 1011 horsepower with a top speed of 236mph / 380kph. The tuning and performance build used is shown at the start of the video. This video is showcasing the performance of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI in 4 race events and 1 drift/Gymkhana event.

In my previous video, I mentioned I wanna talk about the Evo 9's tuning. Not long ago, someone gave me feedback on my tuning and he compared with several other tunings from youtube pros/forum pros. The feedback was that my tuning will give the fastest time around the track at 100%. However it's also the worst tuning when it comes to handling control compared to others. I then tried one of the tuning and indeed matches the feedback. It also make me realise, having maximum negative downforce for the best acceleration isn't the way to go. I admit that I was obsessed with acceleration ever since I talked about the Volvo and F40 results in A Legend's Wheels, thats why all my previous video have tunings adjusted to the maximum negative downforce. Don't get me wrong, I'm confident enough to say that my tuning brings 100% of the car's performance at maximum less downforce settings. But then, the car's real 100% performance isn't in that max negative downforce, but rather the perfect sweet spot in the downforce settings that provides the balance of acceleration, handling and control. I also realise after the feedback that casual players can't benefit the tuning setting if it's so hard to control. So from now on my settings is to take casual players into consideration as well. By the way, downforce setting will affect your overall drifting/grip cornering speed. The higher the setting, the better the cornering. It will also affect how the car reacts to bumps and jumps, the higher the better. And of course all of these will cost acceleration.
So this video from now onwards, including the Impreza's tuning shown above will now have a balance in the downforce settings. Also this realisation of the downforce setting allows my 1965 Mustang to achieve that fast time on A Legend's Wheels. Do note that my DF setting will lean more towards the acceleration side yet controlability of the car is much better than my previous max-negative DF settings. Also I'm proud to say that the Impreza's tuning is my best tuning so far and will continue to share my tuning settings for the upcoming cars. I may update the tuning and share them for the previous cars I've uploaded.
Sorry for long description... now onto the Impreza's description! The Impreza's stock tuning is really bad and may turn people away quickly. However, the Impreza after tuning has probably one of the best drift handling for racing. It doesn't lose a lot speed as you increase the drift angle and it's very forgiving if you make mistakes in your drift. Whether it's brake or handbrake drift, it's damn good at tackling corners with it's drift. It also has one of the fastest drifting speeds I've driven so far (but it could also be due to the new tuning setting). However it's major weakness is pretty obvious. It has weak acceleration and that stupid 8th gear. In 7th gear, you will need to shift up at the exact redline, otherwise you will just get an acceleration drop at 8th gear at low RPM. Another weakness is it's quite weak at gripping due to it's twitchy grip steering and reducing it further in the tuning settings will result in sacrificing the lightness of the car.
