Ned rig hellgrammite fishing! FANTASTIC Suwannee bass lure!

I picked up some new lures based on great Amazon reviews and put them to the test. While they didn't catch the exact species I was going for, they surprised me with non stop action on another species of bass.

Your welcome, it was definitely the most Suwannee bass I've ever caught at one time. They definitely seem to like this lure. I'll be using it on other rivers as well that have Suwannee bass to continue testing it.

I ordered a bag and tried them, didn't catch much believe it or not. Took them off and put on a TRD, and had a blast catching bass. There's something about that simple TRD that seems to work.

1/4/20 Fishing report: First off thanks for helping me discover the hellgrammite! Got some from bass pro, for pretty cheap. Did some river bass fishing this morning after the front pushed through. Started off with the buzz bait, had about a dozen short strikes (some totally missed some grabbed the swim bait trailer). Finally landed a 8 pounder on it, then had a couple more short strikes. (As you know it can be hard to make a secondary cast in swift water). Then the sun came out and the bite slowed, I went to the TRD and Hellgrammite. Landed 4 more dink size bass, had about 10 mudfish throughout the day, it was a good day!
