Flak Armor is a 6+ Save! It's 5+ on blast, template weapons. We played it right and I just screwed up the narration.

yes great bat rep but flak armour provides a 6+ save normal and 5+ against template weapons like grenades and flamers

Love your vid as always! Plasma guns don't get hot on a 1 in Necromunda - I believe the unstable trait only comes into effect if the ammo dice roll is failed

Here we Go! ... lets see of the Renegades can get on top.

8:40 Versatile weapons are so scary. You see the number and think, ah what's an inch or four, then this happens. It's why Deathmaidens can be absolute blenders when armed with weapons that get the benefit from the Combat Virtuoso Finesse skill. Power Swords/Knives that become Versatile 3, or more if you upgrade the Deathmaiden's strength? Hitting on 2's, 4 attacks on the charge, 5 if they dual wield? 6's go through armor and do 2 damage? The +1 to strength also helps cutting down Goliaths, but combined with the Backstab from Power Knives, even Ogryns can't just hide behind their toughness 5!

Totally. Plus you typically can't be hit back via reaction in the event they do survive unless they are also versatile.

I have been thinking to try make at least one Van Saar close combater in my gang, and one of them seems to be juse use of Arceiteck whit spider rig aded some cyber ware to make decent one. But will lose to eny well build or kited gangers from more melee oriented ones.

@@FrostWolfPack Would work. The rig makes him a 3+ to hit. Paired doubles his attacks to 4, plus one for charge and plus one for two melee weapons. Strength 4 though. Totally feasible. Versatile is really strong!

Man I love your bat reps. This new terrain is pretty cool. It’s funny seeing the building advertising droids, cause ya know how the imperium feels about robots! About to start my first campaign in the upcoming week. So excited, and I’m glad there are no corpse grinders being played, cause holy cow they seem so strong. 💪 I love all the barrels around your maps. I assume you are 3d printing them?

[Pre-battle]: Damn I'm excited for my Orlock boiz giving those half-naked, underemployed meat department people a jolly good thumping. [Post-battle]: Holy hell that was intense. I can just imagine that last cool check on the Butcher being him not realizing that the Orlock boss was out of ammo, and him just staring the Butcher down confidently until the Butcher was like "nah, I don't want to get Heavy Bolter'd" and yeeted off the field. Great game!

@@brucecarroll5126 I'm a starter box sucker, lol. Ideally you split it with two people but if the gangs appeal to you a rulebook will be included. If you're totally on the fence, maybe a rulebook and a gang.

I think flak Armor is a 6+ with 5+ against blast or template per pg 116 of Book of Judgement (I'm an enforcers player). So you did it correctly as far as I can tell.

That was a nailbiter! CSG are so obnoxious, especially their masks. Personally I think the effects of the masks should only work in their front arc just like furnace plates. Their equipment and fighters are just too efficient, a 4" range on the flensing saw is a little excessive too. But these are the rules. House Orlock are so good! They have access to so many good options, the arms master is a must take. Iron within...

I agree on forward facing for the masks. It makes logical sense. We obviously talk strategy and moves while playing so one thing we discussed is focus on initiates, try to force the bottle and hold out for nerve.
