im late as hell but back when that comment was made i was a patient a lot all the time, my last trip less than a year ago. ive been strapped down. and i take or took those pills he mentiones. currently i take 2 anti depressants an antipsychotic and a mood stabilizer. all my hospitalizations were involuntary and i was never drunk or high.

people with schizophrenia ,hear the voices not in their head but like any other sound as if their heard it with their physical ears,but most can recognize and tell the difference between their hallucinated voices and real ones. Some even deal with them ,like manipulating the voices to catch a fucking break or change them into something less hostile and in some cases manage to have control and authority over these voices.But voices and hallucinations are just a tiny surface level thing in the whole picture.Really its just the only thing most people seem to know and remember about shizophrenia because they heard it somewhere or read some half assed article in the news ,on the internet or absorbed this info through entertainement based on a character.Schizophrenia is a lot more that hearing things in your head in fact, its not even that.just saying.

God damn. This video just made me cry my eyes out. I suffer from bipolar disorder and I take lithium myself. I know what it's like. I'm not as far gone as some of the people in this video. I had one good friend when I was a teen that was bipolar and was an absolute genius 3D modeler for a few weeks then would be fucked up and useless for a few weeks. If not for him I'd probably hate all bipolar people because everyone else I've ever known who was bipolar I would just like to see shot. As for me I'm schizo which is pretty bad ass mental illness to have just makes it about impossible for me to function consistently.

The guy who shakes his side to side for the camera after taking his pill, is a successful actor who ended up there in the psych ward when he was supposed to be at his premier. I'm severely schizophrenic. Unmedicated. Have a bombshell gf and a decent job. Live on my own. Been okay for 5 years. The secret to surviving without help is extreme positivity, hyper awareness of all your own thoughts, staying busy and keeping routines. The second you start thinking negatively or aimlessly or have nothing to do, the delusions and then hallucinations take over. I still hallucinate, but as long as i think positively they arent terryfing just weird af and I know they're not real. So it can be dealt with on your own with extreme focus and practice.

About a decade ago, I went to the Dr because I have P.T.S.D, anxiety, never met the Dr before, I told him I almost faint, get ligt headed in crowded places, don't feel comfortable in big crowd's, I'm an introvert by nature so on, after 5 minutes he tried to prescribe me 3 months worth of SCHIZOPHRENIA med's, said I was suffering from paranoid/delusions, I left the Dr's and threw the med's in the bin, went home, stopped drinking, ate clean, started to read books and exercised! A lot of friends, people I know from poorer neighborhoods on welfare, like we were, who were prescribed anti depressants in primary and high school, now, most are obese, quiet, empty shell's of people I once knew and cared on disability payments. BIG PHARMA HAS A LOT TO ANSWER FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hypocrisy in the medical industry / FDA is UNBERABLE. A doctor tried prescribing me SUBOXONE because I told him I take kratom once or twice a month if I’m having bad anxiety. Dude literally wrote down that I was an addict for taking 1 or two teaspoons of it a month. INSANITY. (Kratom is a legal herb, in the coffee family that is made with tea with many different strains that help a variety of issues) Oh and don’t even get me started on the marijuana laws...they still classify it with heroin and say CBD has “zErO mEdIcAl VaLuE”

I was on pills for about 6 years and when I found out I was pregnant I went off them all and I never felt better let me tell you. Turns out I had been misdiagnosed and it dominoes from there doctor to doctor and people get really sick and messed up

And I still have concerning symptoms (I'm now being tested for seizures) I'm not saying people dont need the meds or arent doing better with them, but the reality is that mistakes do get made and people who shouldnt be medicated or shouldnt be on the medications they are suffer in the long wrong. It's not really anyone's fault either. Everyone in the situation is just trying to help and make things better. A single symptom can be the cause of many different things so sometimes it's just experimenting to see what the real center is. Just be mindful of your symptoms and especially how medications affect you. It's always good to have someone to oversee you and just kinda meet with you regularly and keep note of any changes in your mental state. My husband does that and it helps alot when trying to ses changes I cant see cause I'm the one going through it. Misdiagnoses is not rare but not common either. Point is as long as both parties are confident medicine will help the concern them it doesnt matter the outcome. You made the choice for the right reasons wether it worked or not or was the right way or not. Your goal is to be a healthier and better person that's what matters about it all. Just be aware of all the options while you go about it. Just like me what was thought to be mental disability could very well be a physical issue instead. Same ocean different boat.

i suffer from one of the schizophrenia disorders. when i am in the hospital i sleep on the floor, i also usually rip my wrist id band off. i have gone without eating for a week or two. i off my medications think strange things like the staff is against me. that is what i think when they move me from room to another room or ward. i am all kinds of F*d up off my medication.

I got the schizophrenia diagnosis. Been to mental hospitals at least five times and eaten the drugs. Risperidon and aripiprazole (abilify) are bad, the former made me a zombie, the latter escalated my computer game addiction so that I only played all day and lost the valuable life-time. And there's more than drugs that you can do to alleviate your condition, like adjusting the way you react to voices. My blessings and compassion to all the fellow schizophrenics, Mikko ❤

That psychiatrist who let you go home needs to be in a different job. Psychiatrists get paid to give out weird drugs (with barely any history of human usage, with side effect lists that go on for pages and pages..) to patients (guinea pig test subjects IMO). I was prescribed srroquel and I got side effects from it (muscle pain and twitching).. Instead of taking me off the srroquel I was given a 'side effect tablet'.. The side effects off the second pill included things like psychosis, anxiety, etc.. Took one tablet and ended up having a massive freak out, plus the muscle pain it was meant to be treating was still there.. I bet I would have been prescribed a 3rd pill to control the 2nd pill if I had gone and told the doctors about it.

wellll...if u wanna know, they are songs/videos that match not only your search history but your thoughts also. The thought-reading part began with 4G but got WAY stronger with 5G. Luckily, it seems that a few wide-awake folks neutralized 4G's power...we can only hope that we rise up again agaisnt 5G too. The detectives never call and the FBI never calls either. @@bradporter181 Not really sure what you meant by this but it's quite common for antidepressants and anticonvulsants to be prescribed to people with schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder. Sometimes off-label or because the person has a co-morbid condition.

​@@bradporter181 About a decade ago, I went to the Dr because I have P.T.S.D, never met the Dr before, after 5 minutes he tried to prescribe me 3 months worth of SCHIZOPHRENIA med's, said I was paranoid/delusional, I left the Dr's and threw the med's in the bin, went home, stopped drinking, ate clean, started to read books and exercised! A lot of people I know from poorer neighborhoods on welfare like we was were prescribed anti depressants in primary and high school, most are obese, quiet, empty shell's of people I once knew and cared for! BIG PHARMA HAS A LOT TO ANSWER FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been on haldol and Ativan at the same time. Now I'm on effexor, divalproex, remeron, olanzapine, zopiclone and Ativan. I went through years of being unmedicated. I was sent to a psychiatric hospital when I was 17. They diagnosed me as a pyromaniac but no one back then had a clue about my crippling anxiety. These current meds really cut down on my symptoms. Divalproex is an anti seizure drug also used for mood. Olanzapine is an anti psychotic, Ativan is a tranquilizer, remeron and effexor are anti depressants and the zopiclone is for sleep.

Wow, that last poor guy was a korean war veteran
