The way NECA seemingly incorporated great articulation within the movie accurate aesthetics is awesome! Top 5 figure!

Great review! Just got my Creature yesterday and he's fantastic. I've been collecting the black and white versions of the Universal Monsters, but I made an exception for the Gill-Man since he was always my favorite monster. By the way, that head sculpt with the wide open mouth actually has an articulated mouth.

you know what I was playing around with the figure that day after shooting the review and discovered that it had a moveable Jaw, didn't realize that before

Hey if you didn't know the one with the wide open mouth, you can actually move its lips, when you look in it you see that green part and originally I thought it was for his tongue but it's actually move the lower lip up and down. It's cool that he has that but I feel like if he has that it's unnecessary to maybe have the other two heads? Idk but if that was the only had that would have been really cool because we probably could have gotten some other accessories. But who knows maybe neca will release a accessory set. Also this is probably high hopes but they did make an accessory set for the creature how cool would it be if it was an entire like display but you can fill water in so you could pose it underwater? I would probably buy that in the heartbeat 😂

I have this action figure, and I truly love it. I've collected all of themselves as I grew up with them, and it takes me back to a wonderful time. The monsters were great, as opposed to the monsters of today. I can return to the day of yesteryear.

I feel like the jaw opening and closing was a great surprise. I thought it was just an extra wide mouth but it closes!

Spot the head sculpt with the open mouth has articulation in it.

Thanks Spot for the Creature from the Black Lagoon review. I just can't wait to get in my hands and have him face MonsterVerse Godzilla or whomever I have. And oh, yeah a black and white version of this will definitely be amazing.

Just got mine yesterday and it's a phenomenal figure just like the rest of the universal monsters they've done so far,looking forward to the black and white version too!

This is definitely my 2nd favorite Creature figure, the Mondo one is first bc I like the color and size more, but the articulation on NECA’s feels better.

Excellent and thorough review. Fortunately, it appears the production green paint is not as bright as in the prototype photos. I'm going to combine the NECA Creature with the Diamond Select Julie Adams figure and base for a Black Lagoon diorama. I'm surprised NECA hasn't released more from THE THING figures.

I like how they hide some of the movable joints. I mean I understood that they are needed but on some figures they made. I seen I was like there had to be a way to hide some of them. But after this figure I hope they have a basic idea of how to hide them now.

Trevor grove the sculptor for the heads is the man he is second to none. He did all of the universal monster heads, and that’s the future heads, and he also get a life-size statue of Walter White and Jesse all done in bronze the dudes phenomenal.

Being a fan of horror movies I wasn't in to others classic horror movies I prefer Friday the 13th a nightmare on elm street an American werewolf in London the exorcist and Jeepers creepers

Color is definitely darker from the prototype, i think I wish it was a bit of a brighter green but looks good otherwise.

-NECA should have included the Gill-Man’s open gills with one of the head sculpts. It appears briefly in the movie but it’s there. They should have sculpted it with one of the open mouth sculpts. Plus, yes they should have included the fossilized hand with the figure. Maybe NECA can include the Fossilized hand with a swimsuit clad “Kay” figure down the line. Just sayin’.

This is a great piece, but there needs to be more teeth showing in the head sculpts.

I want a movie with all of them van helsing and the monster squad didn't have all of them
