Yep defo filling the gap. plus I actually like the sewer entrance's size. looks as if you'd get a van through it. Maybe the company will thank you for promoting the display piece & more. As said before I've got my eye on the cave lair set.
I think I’m gonna wait for the Ramen Toys version of the Sewer Lair. I hear it’s supposed to be half the price of the Neca one. I’m all in on the Neca Turtle Van though.
DIY is the way to go. Honestly, even the extreme set is overpriced. You can build full 3d set for about $20. Learning a skill is more valuable and rewarding than overpaying for these diorama pieces.

@meerkat1954 you obviously aren't buying the cheap stuff. There is cheap paint like Folk Art and Apple Barrel for 99 cents and hot glue sticks are even in the dollar store. Cardboard is free. It can be as cheap or as expensive as you want. Stop acting like $300 is reasonable. If anything just wait till Ramen toys sewer comes out but don't try to act like it's too expensive, get creative.

I make my own Dios. $20 is a bit low for anything close to quality but materials can actually be really cheap. Foam is the way to go. That said, not everybody has the skill to pull off anything close to these NECA or Extreme sets and it takes some trial and error to figure things out if it’s your first go. The extreme sets seem like a great investment for toy photographers and casual collectors. Nothing beats seeing everything sculpted out in 3D though.
