I think it was a mistake not using the doorway as the cardboard background. The doorway scene from the 1922 film is so iconic in cinema history.

I thought that too. Maybe they are actually going to make a set with the doorway and don't want people to be ok with just having a picture of it.

15:58 is a testament to how great the head sculpts for all these figures are. Glad you mentioned the shading on the figures in this line, it does so much to subtly bring out the facial details. It simultaneously makes them look more realistic but also has an old film grain look to it. I really like the Mezco Nosferatu but that like most Mezco figures is more of a display piece to me, he's in the display and I don't really pose him around that much at all. This one definitely looks like more of a playable figure, plus it's cool to have a film accurate version. Personally I wish he had one more head with his eyes looking to the right, just to recreate that shot of the camera looking up at him when he's on the deck of the ship, that's my mental image of the character. He's definitely not a Universal Monster in my eyes, but he's still an iconic and awesome monster, pretty sure I liked him more than the traditional Dracula design when I was younger. He'd pair well with the Phantom figure, since both are silent era characters that I don't really consider part of the core monster line up.

Yeah headsculpts/paint are insane. That head you suggested would be nice to have. I did finally end up getting he Phantom but never did a video yet. Amazing sculpts on his heads as well.

There's something about the face. It seems a bit off to me. I think I prefer the Mezco One:12 version. I guess I will need to have it in hand to make a final decision.

The same thing happens to me, it's a good figure, but the face looks more like an old man making strange gestures than a creepy vampire, it's a shame because I've been waiting for it for years...

I prefer Mezcos because it looks cooler but its definitely not accurate. As for the NECA face, I'm not sure but it almost looks like the makeup is very inconsistent in the movie. Sometimes he looks just like NECAs sculpts and sometimes he looks different.

Is it me or was this entire line made with the idea of alternate posing for cheesy selfie and group pics? Lol They look so natural and zany doing it, like the Universal Class photos. 😂 The heads don't really feel the part yet I feel compelled to buy just knowing he's perfect for an ensemble display like yours! 😅

It might be disappointing to hear, but I have them displayed together with the more serious headsculpts on. I do love taking the cheesy group photos tho.

The intro ALONE was worth watching this video for! That was amazing! ;) Dang! You got a LOT of Nosferatu figures! I have that old one that Zombee Kat has and that's it. I've tried to get the One:12 version, but so far, no luck. Hopefully, that re-release in the alternate colours will be released soon, 'cause I have that one on Pre-order. ;) I didn't even know Neca was making this figure and looking at all your Monster figures, I'd say it's time for a new Monnnnster Parrrrty! ;) ...no sooner do I type that and there's a Silent Film version of a Monster Party at the end of your video! Haha! You did an excellent job on the Silent Film effect and Dialogue Cards! ;)

Thanks! The beginning and end were a little tough to make but also not too bad since I get to cut away to a dialogue card whenever I want! I say it all the time that there needs to be a new Monster Party..but will it ever happen?! The re-release looks cool. That's the one with the red eyes?
