Thankfully we’re finally getting gremlin cocoons in the accessory set

I purchased all of the Hellraiser figures when they first came out and I remember that engineer figure preview and hearing about plans for one last series. I emailed Neca recently about it and They replied not knowing what I was talking about. OK!?

NECA was able to made about each major Cenobite from the film Hellraiser series. The line came to an end before their massive Clive Barker designed Engineer was released. The Hellraiser Engineer was sculpted by Rudy Garcia, and was going to come in a two-pack with Kirsty Cotton, but the line petered out before it could be released. Unlikely that those who control NECA page on Facebook know about Engineer release. The only one who knows about all this stuff is Randy Falk and the only way to reach him is via Twitter. But his last comment on Hellraiser series was that NECA has no plans to release new figures in the Ultimate line at this time.

Damn, the Ultimate Wolf was in development. I'm sure they'll get to that someday though. really wanting a Ultimate Predalien as well.. (did they actually confirm they're NOT doing the Wolf?)

Glad it was helpful to discover the forgotten figures of the NECA toys line. Will be a new video later that will include a new releases that wasn't included in this video.

I don't understand why they don't release these awesome figures, they would obviously sell it's strange!

I think NECA have pretty high targets now when it comes to figure sales, and deciding if it's worth the cost to produce something. Many of the figures in this video just wouldn't reach those numbers sadly ... plus a few ended up having image rights problems I believe.

Having spoken to some of the folks at NECA at the time of the announcement that the Kung Fu figures were cancelled, it was based on stores' interest. Apparently retailers didn't think they would sell, so they declined to order any. Wal-Mart wasn't really carrying much NECA merch at the time, so it was really down to specialty shops and toy stores like Toys R Us, and they didn't show any interest, so the plans to make those figures were shelved. I can only imagine it was the same for the other unreleased figures.

I remember wanting that Templar Dante so much; so broken hearted that it didn't get released. Not many cool, fully articulated knights available at the time. Now there are plenty. I was also quite saddened to learn that the Shaw Bros kung fu figures were cancelled. I REALLY wanted Short Axe, To Sheng, Abbot, & Liy Yu Te.

frank n furter and riff raff are the ones that really sting.. also not a fan of the ring but the figure looked like it would have been cool

NECA should try and kickstart figures and waves that retailers won't touch. For example prometheus I.e. if they get x amount of backers they will make it.

A pretty good idea. McFarlane recently used this option for their Spawn releases and it did work well for them. Unlikely NECA will do the same for any of their line.

I collected all the Planet Of The Apes figures. Quite sad that there was a lot from the TV series sculpted but never released. Also the Rocky Horror ones look so good, what a shame we never got them.

It deeply depresses me that Diablo was never released. I was eagerly waiting and waiting on that figure for soooo long. When they finally showed the prototype 3D model images I was going crazy with hype. Then I waited…. And waited… And waited… And years passed. Sad sad times. Big sad. 😭💔

There were a few figures that were shown but never came out for the 2013 Lone Ranger movie: Butch Cavendish, as well as the horses, Silver and Scout. These were shown at Toy Fair 2013.

I hope they get round to actually releasing the ring samara there’s no figures of her in anything hardly so would be a new character to most people’s collections also is a cool character but I guess it is what it is these probably will never come out 😢

Thanks for the info. I tried to find any additional information on the Brown version, but unfortunately wasn't lucky to find any prototype picture made by NECA for this series of figures other than their Green variant.

We technically got the WB gremlin with that new 2 pack demolition set

Neca was actually working on a leprechaun figure?!?

NECA have been trying to get the production rights for the figure for years, but the license holder was not responsive to their requests, so the ideas such as the Leprechaun and the Creep from the original Tales from the Crypt still didn't see the green light. The only one prototype of the Leprechaun was announced by Sota Toys for their Now Playing Series 4 which never been released. As far we know right know NECA consequentially getting all these Classic Horror Movies licenses as this year we get An American Wolf in London, The Thing and Puppet Master releases, so the Leprechaun and Killer Klowns from Outer Space are only questions of time.

Borderlands 2 was my most anticipated release. So sad.

wait, wait, wait. The Oren Ishii figure was never released? That blows my mind.

The cocoon gremlin was released in an accesory pack recently Also there were two Crash Bandicoot figures that weren’t released, Dr Cortex and Coco

Not sure if I missed it, but the 8-Bit coloration homage Simon Belmont from Castlevania was announced a few years ago and then quickly canceled during the licensor approval stage by Konami. Apparently they didn't get what NECA were going for and kept the only prototype that ever existed supposedly. That one still stings. Lucky that Contra 2-Pack got out there before it was too late, at least.

Ah, yes, I searched the Internet and actually found a prototype of Castlevania Simon Belmont 8-Bit coloration that was presented at the Toy Fair in 2016. I thought I had finally collected everything, but apparently I missed this release. Thank you very much for this information, at least now I will add this info to the description. Damn, it's a pity that I missed this information, being a NECA collector for many years.

Very unlikely that these figures will ever be released. Each line of unreleased NECA figures has different reasons for the cancellation, from license issues to low sales that prevent the company from get the desired income. Of course, in such cases, we - collectors always suffer, when no more having option to collect the favorite line. If these lines of figures are ever to continue to be produced it will be a miracle, but NECA currently has no plans for these figures.

@@DrVankman13 but i was wondering about those newer Planet of The Apes action figures because i thought i might have saw one of them at Ebay then again i could be wrong because i was looking them up online and the other ones i found out were the older ones that came out in 2014 i think But! it would be nice to see those figures i saw on your video all come out which that would be pretty neat

Being a huge fan of Jaws, I can't bring myself to buy Hooper and Quint since they cancelled Brody. What a bummer.

Yes, officially it's still confirmed for the future release, but if you take a look at how NECA postpone a lot of their figures for later every year, we won't see any updates soon of the Wolf Predator or any AVP character with the exception of this prototype.

When any new updates will be available you will see them for sure on my channel. As far I know the current release date is 2022 in case if the Lost Tribe will be completed.

If he's permanently in the bed, I can see why Roger from Dawn of the Dead didn't get released. I'd still buy it, but I can see why they might not have confidence in it.

Bob marley figure was release, at least here in south america, it was released.

Officially the figure it's not cancelled. NECA has shown that prototype of Ultimate Wolf in 2017 and nothing was produced since that time. NECA's last response to this request confirmed that they still have a plan to return to the AVP Requiem line with Ultimate Wolf and Predalien citing the fact that the current production of The Lost Tribe Predators takes a bunch of time.

It was unofficial prototype of Vegetable Gremlin that's why it wasn't included in this video, but as NECA confirn=med a bunch of new characters based on G2: The New Batch we'll definitely see the Vegetable along with other upcoming Gremlins.

I wanted the Neo Cortex figure.

Hasta la fecha, NECA no ha anunciado prototipos completos de Gremlins. Lo más probable es que los veamos en otoño. En cualquier caso, cuando haya nuevas actualizaciones para futuras versiones, publicaré nuevos videos con actualizaciones.

In fact, The Crypt Keeper is one of the few characters for which NECA could not even make a prototype. According to the information that NECA shared via Twitter regarding this release, they have been trying for years to get the rights to release this figure, but the license holder is still unresponsive. So this figurine can be considered an unreleased NECA project.

They were suppose to come put with from dusk till dawn figures too. Salma Hayek, Tom savini, cheech Marin, and Danny trejo. Lmk if you can find the neca sketches 9f those. They are probably hard to find, I saw them like 10 years ago. They never are prototypes I believe, just sketches

It would be great to see these sketches. Unfortunately I could not find any info from this series. From Dusk Till Dawn was one of the most iconic vampire films of that time, so it would be great to get these figures even after all this time.

So many would be grails here, but I posted this many times that I wish for: Ultimate Norman Bates Ultimate Dr. Lecter Ultimate Regan Macneil Ultimate Elder / Greyback Predator Ultimate The Relic Monster Ultimate Tremors ( Graboid) George Romero's Iconic Zombies from Night, Dawn and Day of the Dead.. Well there are just so many figures I can wish for as a collector 🙂

That's a good listing for sure. For now we know that from that listing the Elder Grayback is the only figure on NECA's plans. All the other characters are unfortunately not on their list, in particular NECA cannot get the license the Exorcist to produce a realistic Regan figure, as has been done in the past. But I hope they still have a chance to get the necessary rights in the near future. How many great horror movies still have to be revealed in action figure form.

Those video game series with a brand new paint deco were canceled. Freddy and Jason were released only in their standard movie based colors.

The Herbert West figure from Re-Animator was actually the prototype presented at San Diego Comic-Con 2006 by SOTA Toys, not NECA, which is supposed to be a part of their Now Playing Horror line figures including The Leprechaun figure.

Laura Moon from the American God TV Series is the deceased spouse of Shadow Moon. She has been resurrected and returning to the human world where stumbles upon Shadow wreaks havoc on the men by severing limbs like in the brutal fashion, and echoing the series' opening Vikings attack. The figure itself was based on the one of her iconic representation in TV series.

In many cases poor sales in earlier waves (prometheus and borderlands) in other likeness rights issues (jaws).

Why were the borderlands figures didn't come out

There are many reasons why certain figure lines are discontinued. As a rule, big toy companies in most cases hope for a certain profit from the sale of their products and if they do not receive the desired profit from sales, then they simply stop the production line and switch to a more profitable franchise. For instance you can notice that last year NECA released just the one Predator compared to the large number of Turtles figures.

Didn't some of those ape figures come out?

None of them. You can find Zombie Ed and Bob Marley around some online markets, but those are just are bootlegs - the result of stolen molds from the factory because NECA has never produced them.

the chief brody isn't an unreleased figure... it just hasn't been released yet. they just released Quint and he was always supposed to be the first figure in that line. where are you getting your info from?

Don't worry about the Wolf. Luckily It is the only one figure from this listing that confirmed by NECA for production release in 2022. I decided to include an image of the prototype because it was announced at the end of 2017 and since that period has been postponed and so on.

Most likely we'll see Sam Quint figure in the stores only in July. The production release was shown last month, but for June is scheduled only the dispatch of the Puppet Master figures. Great White Shark Bruce should be released by the end of this year.

Lea la información en el video debajo de cada lanzamiento antes de usar palabras como falso. Si prestas atención a la descripción, verás que el estado de lanzamiento de Predalien - Anunciado. Además, parece que estás comentando el video equivocado, porque nunca se ha creado la versión Ultimate Predalien, solo el Predator Wolf, que puedes ver en este video, donde se presenta la imagen oficial. De hecho, NECA ha programado el lanzamiento definitivo de Wolf y Predalien en 2022.

Y solo en la etapa de nota de prensa se publican en la web oficial, si te suscribes al Twitter oficial de NECA conocerás todos los próximos anuncios. Randy también responde con frecuencia las preguntas de los fanáticos, por esta razón estoy al tanto de cada lanzamiento de NECA y comparto esta información en mi canal. Por ejemplo, tampoco encontrará información sobre el lanzamiento de Ultimate Spiked Tail Predator, pero sin embargo, NECA lo anunció oficialmente a través del Twitter oficial.

@@jehnart Yeah, that was a big nostalgia of the time when we watched those movies. Unfortunately, someone thought that the license would not live up to expectations in terms of sales, so the figures were never released. I'm going to make an updated video in the near future where I will explain the reasons of cancellations of all those figures.
