I am a Nebraska fan and I thank you for saying this. As you know this is exciting for, we Cornhusker fans, as Nebraska does not have a very good basketball tradition. Fortunately, Nebraska did not really hurt themselves today in terms of seeding by losing to the Big Ten No. 2 seed. Illionois played very well in the second half.

@@FlyIlliniFly not quite the same better shooter and stronger defender, not a better defender I'd say about equal but Shannon's a little bigger and a better transition and slashing player he's playing off ball then picks his spots ayo was a typical high usage guy in college. T.s. was an NBA player last year truthfully

@@Guevon_PajaroIllinois. Offensive efficiency is 4th best in all of D1. Defense is 81st. The term "defense travels" applies especially well in the NCAA tournament.

Keisei Tominaga and Cornhuskers gave Illinois a really hard time despite losing. I never thought Nebraska would have a winning season in the basketball. I couldn't believe my eyes and they really developed a lot this year. I'm glad that Illinois survived another upset scare, but definitely needs to bolster the defense in case offense doesn't go as planned.

I'm a North Carolina fan and IMHO, no team can outscore the Illini. Unless Illini get jobbed by the refs (like they were in the 2005 UNC National Championship game), the Championship is theirs.

Nebraska’s interior Defense is impressive, Illinois couldn’t penetrate the paint the 1st half. Illinois found this out the 1st half and the Illini were lucky they were hitting the 3’s and short range shots. That was the difference. Nebraska will win some games in the NCAA Tournament.

That is one hell of a game, far more exciting than any NBA game-the reason why I love College.basketball 😊

Man, the Huskers are a dangerous team. Glad we got that win and don’t have to play them again. They’ve got 3+ shooters that can get hot from 3, and that’s always a dagger in March. Looking forward to seeing them upset some teams in the coming week(s)!

illinois is up to a #3 seed in Bracketology. With one more win Illini hits the #2 line.

My Badgers are gonna be up there too. They were great against Purdue today. Hepburn and Storr had fire today, 22 and 20 points, respectively.

Nebraska done came a long way

The Husker men blew this game just how the Husker Womens team did. Good lead going into both second halves but they ain't got DAWG in them up in Husker land. No wonder why Trev left the program LMAO.
