Great interview! Bekka, you ask "why you?" You said "YES" to Coach Cook's offer to play volleyball at NU. Plus volleyball is growing as a great spectator sport, and you are a great ambassador and role model for young girls. Also, congrats for beating Stanford. You were a monster at the net. As well as the team played, I think your best volleyball is still to come.

My two favorite things about August 30th was Bekka's interaction with the little girl and Lexi asking Coach if he was "socking it all in". Bekka rushing to comfort the young girl showed her heart. There wasn't a moment of hesitation.

That was an incredible interview with Becca Alec, and it hurts to hear the negative comments that people say to our athletes… If we are Nebraska nation, that shouldn’t happen! GBR!!💕

Whoops Bekka!!

Awesome interview! I'll second that some people are a little to hard on college athletes, especially the football team. If you want a good team you need to provide a supportive environment so the athletes can become their best.
