Absolutely superb movie. The kid was really fabulous, utterly innocent. She looks beautiful , watching adults plonking each other with fists and six guns. The pace of the movie made it a fun to watch. Good old days. Wish we were transported back in time. John Wayne movies are always special. 💖💝🌹👌👍. Thank you.

Nice oater. 3 stars all day long and past sunset. ⭐⭐⭐ Not a big fan of JW, but he gets the job done in this one. Lots of action and never lets up. Very watchable! 🤠

I thought I'd seen all big John's movies. But not this one. Very good show.

Westerns got me to start riding livery horses back then, and I sure learned they couldn't run that fast or that long .... My girl friends and I enjoyed racing our livery horses. We had to pay extra, I don't remember how much, maybe an extra 50 or 75 cents per horse ] for riding hot and sweaty horses back to the corral. Horses sometimes trip and I had the misfortune of having had a couple of them go down head first and go sailing over their heads. [ 00:49:30 ] One of them broke a leg and between the stable owner, a cop and my father, I had to pay for the horse. Lastly, my compliments to the stunt riders. They know where their horse is going down and are ready to be thrown.

I have seen a lot old movies that were blurred and hard to watch. Though this one is older than most of them the quality is very good.. Not a big fan of Wayne but this one is very nice.

Saw this movie in original black and white 25 years ago. Good flick. And excellent colorization. Far better than the colorization funded by Ted Turner 40 years ago.

I agree, John Wayne was always a mediocre actor, it was convincing enough for a western. The supporting actors in this movie on the other hand were true ham actors, makes ya cringe at times.
