Smooth Sherbet also shares a sample with What U Need from Sonic Rush, the main guitar from that song to be specific

the bit about the music is really interesting, i had no idea the original game's soundtrack was entirely replaced in the remake!

Perhaps Nintendo was too greedy to give away music...

i don’t think nintendo published the game or anything so i don’t see why they would have the rights to the music. then again i’m not sure why sega doesn’t, either. especially when you consider the original’s ost was remixes of the ds game’s ost, how did this happen?
Ahh, now I see that there is a monkey and/or ball in the thumbnail. Keep up the good work 👌
Didn't expect Detritus Desert to slap like it did, but it did.
It... *just* occurred to me that I actually own this game. I said I never played a Super Monkey Ball game before, but I remember owning the Wii version of this. I don't think I ever played it much though, probably only once or twice and never again. I'm not sure why that fact completely slipped my mind in the previous video. Back to the video, GonGon getting stuck on the level geometry is pretty funny, it seems everyone's favorite big boy is too big for this game to handle :P
Absolutely fantastic outro Also, this video was exactly the right length for me to watch in full before I needed to leave the house, so, nice!
My favorite line “woe is me, woe is you”
im surprised that so many of the songs from the now ost are from monkey ball 3d. its kinda neat that the only monkey ball game i own contributed so much to this challenge run/j
WHY DO YOU HAVE SO MANY CATS AT 8:16 JESUS
I really like these little videos after the challenge videos, its super cool how many little neat things are in all these games Also unrelated but i pogged so hard when raisin me up came up lmao
I just can't believe they named an E-Rated game Touch and Roll.

Oh wow another video so quickly! You’re getting more efficient with your work:)
In the Switch version, if you open the Switch menu, the game will be frozen, as with all Switch games, but when opening the game again, it will skip forward a few frames. The physics and collision detection don't work quite the same way during the skipped frames however, which can lead to certain anomalies such as falling faster during the time over animation, and clipping through the goal if you're going fast enough.

Monkey Island's custom music here would be Green Hills from Fast Racing Neo.
i played monkey ball on the ps2 as a kid, bought the new one for the switch but have barely touched it. this video might've lit a spark in me to play it again!
I always thought Smooth Sherbet sounded like Sonic Rush. I had no idea it was because they shared the same sample! Thank you for this insight, it made my day!
The music used from 6:52 until 8:58 was also used as yet another remix in the Temple Trouble map in Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed. Good memories.
Could you also make a video about the lv differences in the teo versions

Sadly, from what I know, there really isn’t anything wildly different with the levels. They mainly got rid of a bunch of guard rails since HD doesn’t use motion controls :/

What’s the situation with the sonic 1&2 soundtracks?
@ognickname7745

@@mawdewile Sega doesn't actually own them, they have to pay their creator royalties every time they use or remix songs from them. That's why Frontiers doesn't have any 1&2 songs, for example

🌜⭐☀I think the point was with this video , who is bibi and BoBo or something like that for the other monkey.... Anyway, this channel literally feeds their monkeys well. I can tell by watching that these monkeys don't suck their thumbs, they don't show signs of being afraid or depressed and they are always playing and eating well. The question is, and I think the point needed to come across, is how do they train the monkey in order to get him to do this? Keep him hungry? Beat him? That is what a lot of people assume when they see a trained monkey because in the old school times when people trained monkeys and animals for the fair, carnival and circus they would starve and beat them into submission most of the time. I don't see signs of that being done with these monkeys and trust me it would be very visible and noticeable. Also, a question to ask is how does it seem the monkeys feel about being dressed and doing all these tricks or activities if you will? Are they uncomfortable or do they seem okay and happy? I don't know because I am not the monkey or living in their consciousness but a good way to tell is pay attention to the behavior of the monkey and notice does he or she look stressed or show fear like when they "smile" but it's actually a fear grimace not a smile and sucking their thumb is a sign of trauma or clinging to themselves and putting their head between their legs and flinching constantly or hiding...I don't see that with this monkey but not to say they could be pausing or editing any behavior like that. I don't like the monkey being dressed or constricted in clothes but hey I don't like clothes myself and think we should all still be naked so whatever. I'm not saying it's right to force a monkey to wear clothes and do other tricks because although, they are primates like us non -human, it's not exactly sensible, other than for the monkey looking cute or more human, to put clothes on one. I literally saw someone dress their monkey the other day and then go dangle it from a tree. Now why would someone do that? Monkeys have fur for a reason not clothes because their clothes would get hung on branches in trees and cause them to fall or get stuck so definitely please don't dress your monkey then put it in a tree or let it try to go climb a tree. I guess it's a matter of preference and opinion if owning a pet monkey is right or wrong but as long as it's not illegal in your state or place you reside then that is your choice and right. However, it would be great if whoever decides to get a pet monkey would treat it nice and fair and with love and kindness and not dress it and make it do tricks but we all know that's not the case with most. I have two monkeys I rescued from a breeder. They both clung to me and my daughter for 6 months solid. Rarely let go. They eat great and healthy and play with each other and us in the grass and trees and have a very good life. We do not put clothes on them for any reason and only put diapers when they are indoors. However, we constantly keep their diapers changed and clean if they are indoors or I should say when they are indoors for the night. We have never posted any kind of video and never will. We don't care for them for monetary gain or to be seen and noticed but because non human primates are our favorite animal and one that has a special interest to my daughter and me. We have been working on the last 5 months starting our own private safe haven and sanctuary and we want to go to these other countries where these videos are happening and offer large amounts of money to the people for their monkeys and to not post anymore videos with animals abusing them and this would be under contract to receive the payout. We then want to take monkeys back to our sanctuary and begin the long process of healing and nurturing and rehabilitating. It seems like a long shot but if money is what these people are after then I can't sleep good at night knowing I could take a plane, go to the country, give my money away, save the monkey from this day in and out torture they are going through and give them a shot at feeling love, care, nourishment for their bodies, rest and some peace where for once in their pitiful daily lives they won't feel scared or worried what will happen next or will they get to eat today or tomorrow or a week from now? I would send those people straight to jail myself if I believed it would help but jail or being chastised by authorities will not cure sadism and that is what this basically narrows down to. How cruel can humanity get before we ever make a change? We are so socially and consciously behind that it's embarrassing to a point that other civilizations from other planets literally call us " the planet of children". I know children who wouldn't behave in this manner though, starting with my own. My daughter is going to begin college to study and become a vet when she graduates high school and she has always been an animal lover, she won't even kill a spider.🕸🤗 She is so upset over this monkey abuse situation that she is the one who had this idea to go there to these other countries and get these monkeys. Blessings 🙏 and peace ☮ to everyone and sending out positive vibes in all points in time and space for everyone's life. 💕 🐒💕☀⭐🌛
