Not just food but Vehuicle Insurance,Gas,Rent,Heat,Vehicle Licensing and many other things that require money to accomplish them.

The shrinking middle-class. People who had a little extra to spare would donate to food banks/charity. Now, these same people can't afford to donate anymore. Some of them even have to rely on food banks themselves now.

I don't know enough about Metro or Empire, bit I do know Loblaws os involved at all levels of the supply chain. The Westons have made a handsome profit at the expense of consumers...

Perhaps instead of Trudeau spending $100M on LGBTQ initiatives or $650M to Ukraine, perhaps he can give some of that money to Canadians, or use that money to figure out a way to reduce grocery costs for Canadians. Just a humble idea.

I have a speical diet that allows me to eat a lot of unprocessed foods like fruits vegetables, lean meats, glutean free corn free whole grain rice and quninoa as well as drinking water or tea. I 'm dariy free, egg yolk free,soy free and msg free for austism, mirgines and onion and garlic free diet. All lot of food bank cans,jars and food proudcts in packages contain a lot of ingedreidents like corn byproudcts, glutean proudcts or egg yolk sometimes and a lot of sodium too. I have had a sentitive tummy and senory issues for a long time and I would stuggle with the smell of canned soup to the point of not eatting if that was all i had. That sounds hard wow how do you do it.

This economy needs to be fixed, when right now a place to live in vancouver average is $2-4k+, like remember the saying if I had a million dollars I would be living my dream!, yea well that is still not enough to afford a 1 story broken home that legit violates basic human rights, $1.7 Million to buy that + Intrest, Fees, Taxes, possible repairs, utilities, and all that before your basic needs like FOOD! when people need to go on days without eating because they straight up can't afford it, what next? start stealing when we get desperate enough, break laws, lawlessness and chaos, it would be anarchy!

Yeah I live in Alberta. Constant struggle since he became prime minister. Never thought I would find myself living in a construction bin just recently got out trying to help my mother lucky if I get one meal a day. Canadian bacon for rich people now

On the brightside I've lost 40 lb in extra weight since May by cutting back on groceries since the massive price inflations. On the downside, I don't have much extra to lose at this rate if things persist and I want to keep food costs down.

So can I cry and can the 70% of the population in which is obese really cry? I think not. If the statistics are that most of us are obese that means we’re carrying 40+ pounds of fat. We’ll be ok.
