Men don't run away from strong, and independent women. It's a good thing that a woman is “strong and independent” for HERSELF. However, that strong, and independent mindset comes with personality traits that kinda repulse men such as; A type personality, non-agreeable, combative, competitive, authoritative etc... Unfortunately, these traits are attractive to women in men. But they’re not attractive to men in women. It’s a biological thing, and biology is a bxtch. Men are attracted to femininity and women are attracted to masculinity. And it just so happens that these are masculine traits. To make certain amount of money as a woman you can't be passive, you have to be competitive, you have to be assertive and aggressive to some degree, you can't turn it off. And if you work a fast pace stressful job it can be even worst. And so it reflects on how you interact with people in your everyday life. And men like that sweet feminine side of you. So therefore, it's unfortunate that women are victims to their success when it comes to relationships.

No joke, hearing this song when it was new helped me to gather up the courage to leave my long-time, going-nowhere situationship...I had, over time and through my own hard work, become "Ms. Independent", but he did nothing but tear me down. I realized how much I wanted a good man who admired and respected me. I found one not long after, married him and never looked back. It changed the trajectory of my life in so many ways to receive consistent support, love, and encouragement from my partner. I mean, it's not rocket science, guys. If you love a good woman, act like it! She'll bless your life in more ways than you can count.
