Lovely piece, at least the name of the exact area where the garri and plantain is brought from should have been mention and the name of the village or town across the river should have been mentioned. It's a beautiful work

@Oti, the river you called Ndibe River is known as the Cross River. The beach on the Ebonyi State side of the River you've correctly called Ndibe Beach. The Cross River is the natural boundary between parts of Ebonyi and Cross River communities. On old maps of southern Nigeria the Cross River is called River Cross. I come from the community across the river (on the Cross River State side) opposite Ndibe. I know that entire area well, having swarm, fished, dived for prawn, hiked and picniced there.

I have been there. It was an awesome experience. You could scoop your own shrimps and have then cleaned up and barbecued for you. If you love beaches ⛱️ you would love to have this experience.

Please also wear safety 🦺 jacket. Disappointing that all of you in the boat none had life jacket.
