NDE: “Am I DEAD?” 45-minutes of Death, Afterlife & My Life Review with Robert Bare

Ойын-сауық

Robert Bare was deceased for 45 minutes, his life changed forever after his Near- Death Experience. (NDE)
His near-death experience shook him to his core. It occurred shortly after he boarded a plane in and had a massive heart attack.
Robert spent more than two decades as a California Highway Patrolman, and spirituality or religion played little role in his life.
"I’m a different person now,” Robert says. “Now I only want to do good in my life.”
Robert is currently the cofounder & Vice President of Spiritual Awakenings International. He is also a past board member and former Vice-President of IANDS.
This is his story, and this is his Passion

I was out of my body for seven minutes, after my surgery my Dr. asked me if anything had happened in there, I told him I had come to, he told me how they almost lost me in there, I told him about the conversation between him and the nurse and he was surprised I said it verbatim. There's more, but that's the interesting part.

Wow! I had a similar experience. I am a former CHP Officer. My Mom died in 2006. In 2008 I was having serious heart problems but didn't know I was having heart problems. One night I went to bed & sometime during the night I found myself in an empty room hovering in a corner, my head almost touching the ceiling. In the middle of the empty room there was my Mom. She was laughing silently & told me telepathically that I had "12, maybe 14 years left." I took that to mean years of life. 2020 was 12 years. At 2:30 AM, morning of September 3, 2020, I heard a loud female voice that I did not recognize ask me, "are you ready"? It shocked me so badly I woke up. I realized I was being asked if I wanted to die then. I had a good & happy life but I had a friend & some relatives who needed more help with life, so I prayed that I would have 2 more years. I heard nothing more & now it is 2022, 14 years later. I've had a good 2 years & really accomplished what I needed. I am ready to go if God wishes it. We will see. I had visions, not dreams, but maybe God will change his mind! One way or the other I accept what happens.

I would like to share my best friend's story with you. Family Story Little did our family of six know that Friday evening, September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our 16-year-old son, Ethan, played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for Ethan for a church mountain hike he was going on the following day. My mother (who was visiting from out of state) and I woke early with Ethan on Saturday morning. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he'd see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my "new driver" heading out on his own that morning. As Ethan pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mother and said, "It's just so hard letting go." Little did I know how much "letting go" I was really doing. That was the last time I saw Ethan. He did not make it home that evening. That afternoon, a friend tried to contact my husband, leaving an urgent message to call him back. He tried several times to return the call to no avail. As we were preparing supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan filled my heart. I quietly blinked back tears. I glanced out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pull up to the house, but no one arrived. However, within a few minutes, a patrol car DID pull into the driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst. My husband and I went out to meet the officer, who confirmed our fears. Hesitantly, he told us our son had fallen off of a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries. Our hearts were crushed; they still are. Yet, in all of our brokenness, deep, continual grief and loneliness, our family has such a blessed Hope and assurance that we will see our dear son and brother again. You see, when Ethan was a young boy, he was saved; he put his faith in Jesus alone to forgive his sins and to take him to Heaven when he died. He realized some very important truths from the Bible that he would want to share with you. His Story Everyone is a sinner. Sin is any violation of God’s Law. God is holy, just and righteous, and He cannot allow sin in His presence. Ethan realized that he - like all of us - had sinned; and his sin separated Him from God. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23) “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12) He understood that, because of his sin, he deserved to spend eternity in Hell. “For the wages of sin is death;” (Romans 6:23a) [Wages: price] “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8) Ethan believed that Jesus, God’s Son, paid the price for all sin when He died on the cross - because His sinless sacrifice was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous, holy God. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, but He arose the third day, triumphant over sin, death, and Hell. Jesus is alive today! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) Ethan was sorry for his sin, repented (turned), and received by faith the free gift that God offered to him. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) “...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b) Because of this great salvation, Ethan lived his life serving Jesus. He worked hard to spread this Good News to the world. He is alive in Heaven with Jesus today; and because of this great HOPE in Christ, we know we will see him again soon - not because he was a great kid, but because of his faith in the great Saviour! “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28) Your Story What about you? What if you had fallen to your death that day - What if you were to die today? Where will you spend eternity - Heaven or the Lake of Fire? There will not be any parties in the Lake of Fire. It is a place of eternal torment for those who reject God's Son. The Word of God is very clear that there is only One Way to Heaven. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) We did not know that Ethan would step into eternity that day; however, because he put his faith in Jesus alone for his salvation, Ethan was ready to go. Some day - perhaps today - you will take your last breath here on earth, and you will step into eternity. Where you spend eternity is determined by what you do with Jesus Christ. Will you accept Him or reject Him? You are not promised another day or another breath. Eternity begins soon - Are you ready? “...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” (Acts 16:31b) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) “(...behold, now is the day of salvation.)” (2 Corinthians 6:2c) ****************************** Tribute to Ethan Lakey kzread.info/dash/bejne/d5yjxMWKipm3kps.html

If I was in the position of this woman, I wouldn't have bothered voicing my grievances to any person after they die in the event that I die before them. It would've turned out to be something ugly and in my mind's eye, almost all of them wouldn't be worth having ongoing ties with. It isn't like I'll be constantly thinking about them or anything because I may choose to: a) ask for oblivion b) go to something different from homo sapiens and earth life, maybe even carbon based life as I know it with all the similarities or explore other abilities and choices to unlock them and get their data because I wasn't able to play around with them. The less I do the better I feel because I don't really feel the need to exist or anything to say the least. However, I do want to have nothing to do what I'm familiar with, the less the better which would have a bare minimum I think if the oblivion option wasn't available. I'd go as far as establishing an early warning system that ensures that I do not interact with them or anyone that might be interacting directly with them. The other part is being afraid that they'd find out about my dark thoughts and the impressions that I had towards them, something that I find pointless to act upon tbh at any point in time but they are still there nevertheless besides these thoughts being perceived as alien to myself despite their consistent presence. I'm a person who strongly associated with solitude and isolation as it is what I've known most of my life as a millennial so I would have an extreme aversion to people, particularly after figuring out the essence of any given relationship.

My mum had an NDE when I was around 3. She was very ill in hospital. She described it to me, the hovering over the bed, watching her favourite nurse, Rosie, sat by her holding her hand. The Vicar giving her the last rites. The travel up a tunnel to a light. The pleading with that Higher Power to come back as I was too young for her to leave. So it let her come back. She told me later in my life to never fear death. It was beautiful over there, in that place. Both my parents have gone and as time goes by I miss them more. Now I am crying. Thank you Robert.

Our son committed suicide in 2021. We were devastated but we still had hope. In August, 2022 we took our grandson for specialized oral surgery in Minnesota. Early one morning, while we were there, on August 13, I heard our son say “Mom”. No message, just “Mom”. I made a notation on my calendar. Some time elapsed until I realized that I had heard his voice on my Dad’s birthday. Shortly before our son died, he told me that he really missed his granddaddy, my own precious daddy. I had been asking God for a sign that our son had arrived in Heaven, and He gave me one. Now I am looking forward to going to Heaven.

Thank you, Robert, for such a heart-felt account of your STE, and thanks again, Luisa, for this interview...Such important messages for "these times"...Recently (this past week), I had occasion to chat w/ an older (relatively--older than I am!) gentleman, outside our local IGA. He had just purchased a new C8 Corvette (the fancy, new, mid-engined ones that there's a year's waiting list for), and intended to have "as much fun as (he) could"...Turns out he was diagnosed w/ cancer right after he took delivery, but he was so upbeat, and into the FUN of living out his remaining days...An inspiration to me, who gets all-worried about worldly-stuff...Blessings, all!

God is love, it’s so simple & Jesus is real I saw him in a near death experience. He looked like the painting by Akiane. It’s on KZread. I never thought of what kind of clothes he might wear but when I saw him he had on a white robe & a long red vest or big red scarf, I couldn’t tell because he was seated & I had become a child about ten & I was seated on his lap. I saw his eyes with blue, brown, green & turquoise. He looked like a kind person.

I also had a 'near death' experience. I was often asked to speak about it at church conferences and meetings. I found that a % of people believed me and a % thought it was BS. A few others wanted some type of proof before they accepted it as truth. I need to say that - To those who BELIEVE, no proof is necessary. To those who DON'T believe - No PROOF is ever ENOUGH. They will find out the truth at the end of their life unfortunately....it will then be too late for them. Unless they have a DEATH BED EXPERIENCE and then believe.

Sad that some people just don’t believe. But many hospice workers say death bed experiences are common. So hopefully people can be saved in the end. I actually got a picture of a very large person an angel? Beside the big crucifix with the risen Christ in our bedroom. I took the picture at night & it was very dark in the room. You can see the angel with one hand outstretched to touch the top of the head of Christ. I tried to recreate it but never could. Some people see it clearly & some people think I faked it somehow because they just refuse to believe.

But I do think there is a God out there, and I certainly hope we meet it when we die and we continue to exist in its presence forever. I guess I'll find out eventually.... :)

When I came out of the coma, I could only move my head. So much of his story resonates with me. I went through all kinds of rehabs for months.I went back and took food to the nurses in the ICU, the step-down unit, and the cath lab.. They called me miracle girl and said they were determined I was not going to die. I am going to go visit them tomorrow. I bought them medical pins to wear on their scrubs. They told me how good it was to see me because people never come back, and they don't know what happens to people. They said they read obituaries. He is right every day is a gift and you don't sweat the small stuff.

I really encourage you to check in with your guides, God, the divine… (however you refer to it)… whether there is something more to gain from reading that letter. You mentioned several times that your life review was a “reckoning.” I believe we are all here to learn - yes, compassion - but also self-love. Forgiving ourselves and truly loving ourselves complete with all our missteps. As you said, you were only a young boy and we do the best we can with what we know. Thank you for another amazing interview Luisa! NDE's are the new frontier of exploration, and as Robert said, explorers cannot bring video back to prove what they say. Yet there are so many who all describe events with such similarity that their evidence is overwhelmingly convincing. Roberts recounting was so uplifting and moving, and it added to my understanding too. I didn't know before that you get to see things that happened behind your back in the life review. It makes a lot of sense from a learning point of view, because it is so important to a true picture of things. I'm sure that when he does pass for good Robert's review will be wonderful! He is touching so many lives for the better. I imagine a host of thankyous.

Robert's NDE was captivating. I haven't had a NDE to speak of but I have been in several experiences where I think I was in Heaven as a bystander. The words he said about "mental telepathy" I have experienced and when he mentioned the colors in Heaven, he was right on. The closest I can describe them is as if they were a transparent gel of some kind. In one experience after my cousin died, I was held in what seemed to be a giant rose bud. The closest color we have down here is peachy pink. I felt such love being sent to me , yet the mere word ' love ' isn't good enough to describe it. Once after climbing cloud steps I saw a crystal palace like building and shafts of color was coming out of it like light through a prism. Once on the anniversary of my late brother's birthday, he and I were singing songs as the Angels stood and watched. I do not know what language nor do I remember any words but it was beautiful. When it was nearly time to go he was having an ice cream bar (he was diabetic down here) the ice cream fell off the stick. He said " It's ok, I can have all I want here! Then he put his left hand on my shoulder said " my wife has one more charge against her, she didn't have me tested for Lime Disease". Then I woke up on what would have been his 70th birthday.

@James Palmer2 you are untitled to your own ideas but I totally disagree with you. In the Holy Bible, the Apostle Paul tells us " absent from the body is present with the Lord". Jesus tells us "In My Father's house are many rooms, I go to prepare a place for you". I choose to believe in Jesus as my Savior. I think my life after my death is a sure thing.

I am 83 years old and a former Baptist minister. In 1948 I was 9 years of age when I heard on my shortwave radio the United Nations vote affirmative to make Israel a nation again. I did not see how this would happen. The preacher was preaching that Jesus Christ would not come again until Israel was a nation and that Jesus Christ would restore His Church also Elijah had to come as stated in Malachi 4:5-6. Also what I was taught about my relationship to God and Jesus Christ did not agree with the Holy Bible, one major example is John 20:17. I was preaching a sermon and the Holy Spirit lead me to read the Book of Mormon and to take the missionary discussions. This was in 1970 and the Fort Lauderdale Florida Ward was fasting and praying for an Organist. I sat down with the young sister missionaries and told them "I'm not here to convert you nor to be converted by you", they said they had 7 discussions, I said ok, I'll take them ( I thought this is the last place I'll find any truth), they told me that I lived with God before coming to the earth, the reason for this short mortal life, who I really am, the reason for the fall of lucifer and 1/3 of the host of heaven. The true mission of Jehovah and His birth as Jesus Christ to provide a way to have our sins remitted. Where we go after death of this mortal body and we are not really dead as we are eternal spirit and sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. My wife opposed me talking to Mormons. I asked her to ask God if the Book of Mormon is true. She came out of her room all excited and said she changed the way she was praying and a light appeared in her room and a voice (as if it was someone in the room), "Your husband is seeking to serve God, follow him." She was immediately converted and wanted to be Baptized. My father also a Baptist minister was upset with me for going astray. I pestered him saying have you read the Book of Mormon, no, then how do you know. After reading the Book of Mormon and 4 months later he and my mother asked me to baptize them. The 1st year 14 members of my family and extended family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, comprising 4 generations, plus many more since. This is my True story and I testify of it in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. My "Out of Body Experience." I was lying in bed, half asleep when suddenly I had the most wonderful feeling as I rose out of my body, I could see my body but I was no longer attached. I rose up through the attic and roof, outside I could see the area around my house above was a pure white globe much larger and brighter than the moon but pure white, I am very religious and I knew to enter the light; as I moved toward the light I felt the love of Heavenly Father and I felt an overwhelming love for Him, I was thinking over and over "Glory to God in the highest", I really felt His love and I wanted to enter the light, suddenly I remembered my wife ( we met at 16 and sat together on the school bus) whom I love with all my heart (we are now married 65 years), I looked down and when I did I was sucked back into my body with a thud. My body was tingling all over from lack of oxygen, I was not breathing and could not move; I thought you are back and have to breathe, so I tried to breathe but could not, after the 3rd attempt I suddenly took a deep breath (like a switch was turned on), I lay there and slowly the tingling left my body. I know that I am a spirit being living in this mortal body and we have a Heavenly Father and that Jesus Christ is His Son and that this shorty life is a test where we will be separated as the wheat from the chaff at the resurrection. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Restored Church of Jesus Christ with the Fullness of the Gospel which gives us a knowledge of our premortal life as sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father and the purpose of this "purification" or test. There is no disobedience in heaven, we will be resurrected to a state for which we are able to be happy. There are 3 Heavens 1st Corinthians 15:39-41 KJV and God knew us before we were born Ephesians 1:2-13 (entire chapter). The tribes of Israel are beginning to gather. The Book of Mormon is the record of the tribe of Joseph (son of Jacob in the Old Testament) whom Jesus Christ went to in America. It is a 2nd Testament of Jesus Christ. There is not enough room here to tell my whole story. Love you all. Amen

Thanks so much for your story, and your openess about the experience. I am both reassured and concerned for when that time comes. Certainly have a lot to think about and your perspective on what the process was for you is very helpful. Thanks so much.

Jesus Christ is the higher power and without his death burial and resurrection, we would not have that life after death. that is glorious anyway. The other hell is just as real. so like his dear mama is your life in order. it is a joy to be free of all the mistakes, selfishness, and ignoring God's call. With Love as a sister!

I was very encouraged by this testimony. Also it was special to listen tell it in slower speaking. We're about the same age and that's how we spoke in Cali in the old days ha ha ha. Thanks for sharing something so special.

I would love to have conscious memory of a full OBE. i almost had one many years ago while half asleep, heard the metallic noise, felt the pressure, and felt the vibration, but i became frightened because i didn't know what was happening, so i asked Jesus to help, and the experience stopped... had i not done that, i am sure i would of floated out of body, i just wasn't privy to that knowledge back then.
