Hahahaha. NCT have ‘track videos’ for some of their songs (like a mini music video for 1/3 of the song) so I’d recommend watching their track videos. My favourites are the track videos for “elevator (127F)”, “daydream” and “not alone” (I’m a sucker for their calmer songs. So underrated)

@@kylab3994 Never said I didn't know what it was because I knew it was a mashup from the beginning. I was talking about NEW REACTORS to the group in my comment, not MYSELF... Most reactors don't do a ton of research and don't realize Resonance isn't technically its own song. Just thought it would have been better for NCT if SM put that it's a mashup in the title of the video so that newbies know what to expect and aren't super confused while listening to it. That's all.

lol NCT is the hardest group to have a steady bias. For me it's Taeyong. But then you get WayV and Xiaojun who kills me with his eyebrows every time. But then Ten comes in shirtless with "Bad alive" totally attacking. Not to mention Lucas in every freaking song. Then you have "Kick it" and Yuta slayed me with his anime hair and Johnny killed me with the vest and his arms out like that. I just can't with these dudes. They are the ultimate bias wreckers in every music video. Anyway loved the video :)

The stunning and anime looking member at 31:12 is Yuta (a main dancer). He is one of the 2 Japanese members and was actually the only Japanese member until last year when they added 2 new members (one korean, one japanese). BTW he was also the guy at 5:20 with the sexual gaze and 6:29 with the good hair lol.

Yangyang is the youngest member in WayV. He is the main rapper, unfortunately he didn't get many parts in 90s love so it's cool that you still noticed him. Even though he is the main rapper, he mostly gets little singing parts in WayV songs now, idk what SM is doing tbh but yeah he can sing as well (at 23:54 is yangyang). He is born in Taiwan but grew up in Germany. Together with Ten he speaks the most languages in NCT. He speaks: Mandarin, German, English, Korean and a bit of Spanish. Ten is teaching him Thai and he is learning Indonesian on his own.

glad that he noticed yangyang too.. poor yangyang & winwin they deserved better in that MV YangYang knows more languages than Ten, but outside Wayzennies circle fans barely know that sadly minor thing to add: YangYang grew up both in Taiwan and Germany, he spent 6 years in Germany (his teenage years) some fans mistook him as a German bc of that, but he is of Taiwanese nationality (like Jaehyun spending 4 year in US but still Korean nationality).. and I think YangYang got decent singing parts, considering most of WayV songs are vocal-heavy so their songs are mostly emphasized by their main vocalists (Xiaojun, Kun, Ten).. WayV has more rappers than vocalists but their songs are mostly vocal heavy, which is the opposite of NCT 127... WayV and NCT 127 may benefit switching up their song concept (NCT 127 has more vocalists than rappers)

I heard Ten tried to learn Cantonese and maybe Japanese too but I don't think he can converse in those they both are very good in languages though

NCT 2020's "Resonance" MV is a mashup of 4 songs from their Resonance album -- “Make A Wish (Birthday Song),” “Raise The Roof,” “90’s Love,” and “Work It.” It keeps switching up because it's not the same song. "Raise the Roof" features all 23 members and the other 3 songs -- which each also have an MV -- feature the members who participate in that track on the album. NCT 2020 "Resonance" was a special project that NCT did in 2020 to introduce their two newest members.This is sort of similar to their "Black on Black" special project with NCT-2018 when they had 18 members. Then in 2019 they introduced 3 new members to the group when they debuted WayV which made the group 21 members strong. And then in 2020 they debuted 2 new members Shotaro and Sungchan. So now NCT has 23 members and Taeyong, the group's leader, now has 22 children to take care of. (Yep everyone you see in this MV is a member of NCT.) When Sunchan and Shotoro were introduced last year SM said that they would become members of a new NCT sub-unit, so now we are waiting to see who will be a part of the new unit and what the unit's concept will be. So far, this is one of the few projects Sunchan and Shotoro have been a part of since their debut, so we are waiting to see what SM ends up doing with them. If you like NCT's dancing you have to check out their dance practice videos. NCT are known for their dancing and they have a dance practice video for almost all of their MVs, so you should pair your reactions to future NCT songs with their dance practices as well. ;D Here is some information about how NCT works. I hope this might make it a little easier to understand. NCT is different than any other Kpop group in the industry. The way NCT -- which stands for Neo Culture Technology -- works is it's a group with an infinite number of members. (There are an unknown number of trainees who are still waiting to debut who could potentially become members of NCT.) As SM Entertainment's male trainees graduate from the training program and SM decides they are ready to debut, they become a member of NCT and they debut as part of one of NCT's sub-units. NCT is a group that is constantly changing and rearranging its members and sound and we never know quite what to expect from them. With an infinite number of members and a concept that allows the members to rotate between sub-units, changing, adding and subtracting members depending on the concept and style of the song, you should never expect the same thing from them. You are better off always expecting something new, that somehow, also ends up sounding very much like NCT. LOL NCT is a very international group. The members as a whole currently represent 9 different countries and they speak 8 different languages. For example, there are 10 native Korean members (Taeyong, Doyoung, Taeil, Haechan, Jaehyun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Jungwoo and SungChan), Mark is Korean-Canadian, Johnny is Korean-American, Yuta and Shotaro are Japanese, Ten is Thai, Lucas is Chinese-Thai from Hong Kong, YangYang is Taiwanese but he grew up in Germany, Hendery is Chinese from Macau (China) and 5 mainland Chinese members (WinWin, Kun, Xiaojun, Renjun and Chenle). The group's concept is based on dreams, so everything they do has something to do with being in a dream, dreaming or some sort of dream state, etc. And it's all connected to SM's Universe. The first unit to debut was NCT-U which began April 2016. NCT-U is made up of pretty much all the members, they just add and subtract members from all the other sub-units depending on the concept for the song. NCT-U songs can have anywhere from all the members or only 1 or 2 members. The U stands for United, but I also like to think of it as Universal because of the way the group never has a fixed number of members. The second sub-unit is NCT-127 which began July 2016. NCT-127 currently has 9 or 10 members. This group is more of a fixed unit so the members don't change quite as much as the other groups. The 127 in this unit's name stands for the longitude coordinates of Seoul, South Korea, on a map of the world. So its 127's job to represent Seoul around the world. "Kick It" (Chinese title "Hero") is based on being like Bruce Lee -- hence why they say Bruce Lee like a hundred times in the song LOL -- and black and yellow are Bruce Lee's signature colors -- so, that is why "Kick It" used those colors. And the finger move on the side of their nose is a signature Bruce Lee move. Bruce Lee is a Chinese action hero, so those are Chinese characters you see on the signs in the MV, etc. NCT-Dream is NCT's third sub-unit, which began in August 2016, and it is made up of all the youngest members of the group. All the Dream member's are currently between the ages of 19 and 21 years old (they were 14-17 when they debuted.) SM originally created this sub-unit with the idea that if they had a trainee that they felt was ready to debut even though they were really young, they would start out as a member of NCT-Dream. They were the cute babies of the group who were learning the ropes and honing their skills because they are young, but they are also some of the most talented because they debuted way sooner than a lot of trainees. The way NCT-Dream originally was designed to work was that the members were part of the group until they turn 19 and become an adult. SM's original plan was that when the members turned 19 they were supposed to graduate from the group and they were no longer considered a member of NCT-Dream. Mark (who is also a member of NCT-U, NCT-127 -- the only NCT member to debut as part of all of NCT's first 3 sub-units -- and SuperM) "graduated" from NCT-Dream in 2018, and Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin and RenJun, who are all older than 19, we thought would be graduating in 2019. (Which would have left NCT-Dream with only 2 members, with the idea that new trainees would probably debut sometime last year and become members of NCT-Dream.) However, SM announced at the beginning of 2020 that they decided to make NCT-Dream a permanent group and suspend the whole " graduation" concept, including putting Mark back in the group. The fourth sub-unit is WayV which debuted at the beginning of 2019. They are NCT's Chinese sub-unit who produces songs in Mandarin and promotes in China. There are currently 7 members in this sub-unit. All the members of WayV have Chinese heritage, but like Ten who is Thai, they aren't all native Chinese. The reason why WayV doesn't have NCT in their name is because, at the time of their debut, the conflict between the Korean and Chinese government was at its peak and China wasn't allowing anyone associated directly with a Korean company to do business in its country. Because of this conflict SM had to find/create a Chinese company -- Label V -- that was willing to represent NCTs Chinese sub-unit, but would also allow SM to have control over the group's concept and activities. Most of the members of WayV had already debuted originally as members of NCT-U + 3 new members who debuted specifically with WayV because they were Chinese. (Kun -- the one with the blue hair in "Bad Alive" -- the leader of WayV, debuted as a member of NCT-2018.) NCT was created by SM Entertainment in 2016 and the group is SM's attempt at taking over the music industry around the world. SM's goal is to eventually have NCT sub-units in every major city in every country in the world. Some day they hope to, for example, take several Japanese members and create a Japanese sub-unit, or put together members from Thailand and create a Thai sub-unit, etc. It has always been SM's plan to have world domination. And to that point, right now NCT-127 is the group that SM is using to try and get their foothold in the U.S. music market with songs like "Regular" and "Highway to Heaven" and collaborations with American artists such as Jason Derulo, (You should check out "Let's Shut Up and Dance" with Jason Derulo, Lay from EXO and NCT-127), as well as a U.S. concert tour and promotional tours with the American media, etc. So, this year is NCT's 5th anniversary, but debut dates are different for any number of members because it all depends on when they were added to the group. And many of the members of NCT actually became recognized by fans even before debut because they were part of SM's pre-debut group project called SMRookies, so SM did activities with several of the members before they debuted. For instance, Mark, Jeno, Jaemin, and Jisung (All NCT-Dream members.) were part of the Disney Channel Korea's Mickey Mouse Club and they starred on a regular weekly variety show on the Disney Channel for a year before debut. Mark was the oldest member at around 15 and Jisung, who is NCT's youngest member, was around 13 at the time. But other members also did other things as part of SMRookies as well. And then there are members such as Lucas who technically debuted in 2018, but we saw him in one of Ten's solo songs as a featured extra in 2017. Taeyong, Mark, Ten and Lucas are all members of SuperM as well.

NCT is a 23 member boy group under SM Entertainment. They are split up into different sub-units and more members are added to the group whenever. Each sub-unit has a different concept. The first NCT unit, NCT U, debuted on April 9, 2016 with The 7th Sense and Without U. NCT U is a rotational unit, meaning that anyone of the 23 members can be in NCT U at any time depending on the song. The second NCT unit, NCT 127, debuted on July 10, 2016 with Firetruck. NCT 127 is a fixed unit, meaning that no members will be taken away and they probably won’t be adding any additional members. They currently have 10 members, but Winwin has been inactive from 127 since 2019. They started with 7. Then Johnny and Doyoung were added during Limitless, and Jungwoo was added during Regular The third NCT unit, NCT Dream, debuted on August 24, 2016. This group consisted of the 7 youngest members of NCT (at the point of when they debuted) and the original plan was that when a member turned 20, they would graduate from the group. Mark graduated in 2019, but the big flaw was that the next 4 members were all born in the same year, leaving NCT Dream as a 2 member unit. Therefore in April 2020, SM announced that NCT Dream will abandon the graduation concept and just be a fixed 7 member unit, adding Mark back into the unit. The fourth NCT unit, WayV, debuted January 17, 2017 with the Chinese version of Regular by NCT 127. WayV sings songs specifically in Mandarin. The reason WayV doesn’t have NCT at the front is because Korean and Chinese relations aren’t the best, so they have had to distance away from Korean branding. I think doing guides on individual units is the move for learning who they are since there isn’t a lot of rotation on them aside from NCT U, which is rotational by default. So like guides on NCT DREAM, NCT 127, and WayV will show you all of the members so that it’s easier to pick them out in songs
