@@_mightbeyourbae4510 like i said, it's wrong to put people in a box and call them "the worst". yes, there is a big percentage of armys that have shitty behaviours online, and that's really sad. but honestly, i can partly understand why some of them are so extreme and overprotective given the history of bts as a group and everything they've had to go through. armys got a lot of hate from other big fandoms back in the day (and they still do) and they're always dragged. however, you cannot fight fire with fire. this behaviour is not the way to go forward and i agree that bts are definitely too good for those type of fans. i guess the key is to ignore the hateful ones and focus on loving and supporting your faves the right way. that holds true for all fandoms.

as an army, thank you so much for providing the real translation and the video proof.. it was really hard trying to figure out through twitter since everyone understood their own version of the story so this clears up a lot of things that were pretty foggy to understand. as an army I'm sorry for all the "fake" stans who are just attacking nctzens and calling you names.

What they are more upset about is that they didn't use honorifics. When taking their seniors' name, they should use "sunbaenim" and idk about you but I didn't hear that anywhere. It's extremely rude. Imagine calling your teacher by their first name? Idk about America but it's really rude in Asia

It's actually so funny that each day, people can be progressively becoming more stupid rather than become smarter lol They just really like to nitpicking others huh, it becomes a hobby for them

As an army coming on Twitter seeing this happen and finding out that getting mistaken for bts (which has happened to them multiple times) and the free drinks were two different stories. It was very frustrating to see outrageously over dramatic tweets coming from armies villainizing NCT 127 saying and I quote "that whole convo just made my stomach churn... from the lack respect/of use of honorifics, to playing along to xenophobia for some free drinks, to riding off of somebody's success but not even being able to say their name aloud..." or "imagine what they say about them behind closed doors" making it seem like they think or speak ill towards bts and now both fandoms are fighting each other. I'm not trying to say nctzens haven't said fucked up things about armies but trying push a certain narrative about a group saying they smell and are ugly doesn't make it any better and they're still spreading that misinformation even though the video here was posted on Twitter. But in general some people would rather be authentic in their ignorance then admit that they made a mistake. Overall I just hate fanwars I'm literally getting stressed just talking about it😭.

To people who said "BTS" without sunbaenim is because people always mistake literally almost every kpop boy groups ever exist in kpop as "BTS" and those people are foreigners and foreigners call BTS as BTS in a foreign language so here they said "BTS" without sunbaenim because they just repeat what those foreigners said. Korean people called BTS "Bangtansonyeontan (+sunbae-nim for junior group) as I remember. So about the that group or this group because they kinda speak about alot of events that happened(because NCT127 love divided as 2 or 3 group to hang out at different places) mixing with each other so they don't know which incidents were about which groups(base on what they said people might mistaking them for another group who not BTS so they used other terms this or that since It's not about one group or one incident that happened at the same time).

There was a mistranslation spread and it was being put out of context as well. The mistranslation spread the impression that NCT accepted free drinks in the name of BTS and referred to BTS as “ that group” in a disrespectful way when BTS wasn’t even the group they were talking about and there was never a mention of them accepting free drinks.

I just have to laugh, people in general don’t know who they are. NCT can only hope to have the same level of worldwide fame as BTS. People, with the exception of their fandom, don’t know who NCT is as a group or as individuals, so they are called by the name of the most well known Korean band in the world which happens to be BTS. I don’t know if what these young men said is disrespectful in SK culture, but I might be a bit frustrated too being called by someone else’s name.
