The Superhuman EP may be underwhelming for some fans who were expecting the typical hardcore 127 songs, but I think it’s a nice change. The songs are easy on the ears, vocal heavy and still very well produced. Whatever it is, I’ll always be interested to see what NCT will release in their next comeback. And you can’t say that for just any artist.

We Are Superhuman : *is different than what NCT 127 usually do* Outro : "Hold my Neo Culture Technology"

Honestly this album was pretty unexpected from NCT imo, it was very different from their usually style. It was especially weird after Awaken, one of NCTs best albums imo along with regular-irregular and limitless. I stilled enjoyed this album quite a bit though even if it was different.

Haechan part came out :".........and he's already one of my favorite" YaaASsssS! I knew it ! I love Highway to Heaven, just like what you said, listening to it brings you the feel of comfort. The song doesn't really have much going on in it but magically simply beautiful just by the way it is. And as the additional why I love this song is HAECHAN FOR THE BRIDGE T.T damn.

Same, I usually get tired of songs when I listened to much but with this song it's the opposite, I feel like I'm in the heaven literally, it's a beautiful song and the feeling is just... I can't explain! Sorry for my bad english :)

Superhuman seems like the main focus of the album. the rest of the album is so chill and easy to listen to, it's perfect for when i'm driving and want some chill tunes on. I love paper planes and had to work out how to play the guitar and piano parts!

NCT127 b-side tracks never dissapoints! ♥♥

I really love how chill the mini album was. NCT 127 can do any style. For Jet Lag, the ending with the rap reminded me a lot of Dear Dream (from NCT Dream) where Mark ended the song with a soft rap too. It's a nice way and change to use rap like that. At least for NCT 127 it's something they don't usually do. I also loved how the vocals shine in this album. Usually, people tends to say the vocals in NCT 127 don't shine as much as they should because most of their title tracks are rap heavy (title tracks, they actually always gave the vocal their time to shine in the side tracks). Here with Superhuman, it's different and I liked that. I also love hearing Taeyong, Mark and Johnny sing because they are good (understatement, Mark often show off his vocals and they are so good, same for Taeyong) vocalists and Johnny's voice tone is really warm. I agree with you for Paper Plane, it's definitely a concert song like welcome to my playground. Just with the first minute of the song I knew it would be a song like that, to interact and have a good time with fans. I still can't help but smile while listening to that song. For the Outro : We are Superhuman, I think it's a way to show us what is coming next, after this mini-album. They already used it on Empathy with the Outro : Vision being a forecast to WayV. Here it's more like the next mini album or album will be the definition of NCT 127 and their sounds, more experimental than this album, maybe a little bit more edgy too but really I'm anticipating the experimental/out of the box sounds even more.

-highway to heaven’s mood is so unique to any kpop song i’ve heard, it sets this relaxing mood/atmosphere that i’m absolutely in love with -fool took me a second to warm up to, but i love it too. it’s so funky lol, it has this retro feeling to it, especially with all the adlibs. the part before the last chorus where they’re just talking makes me ughhhhhnhhhnnn -jet lag is my favorite it just makes me emotional. i feel like it’s a song that just really fits my specific taste in music in general. it builds really well to me too, and the outro is so nice and has a cool kind of abrupt ending with mark’s rap -paper plane is just an adorable happy bop -the outro slaps

Finally someone who appreciates Jungwoo's voice :') There are so many people who sleep on his voice that makes me mad xD the same happens to Taeil and Haechan

this really is the “summer” album. like jet lag was a ballad but it was like a summer love, sitting by the bonfire type of balled. highway to heaven i can picture listening to during a road trip and just having it play while you’re living your best life. outro is like when you’re in a risky situation or a 2am adventure fools is also very roadtrippy/camp-y and just feels like when you’re a kid paper planes is a feel good, sitting by the beach with a coke kind of song and of course superhuman is just hype

Highway to heaven was produced by the same person/people who produced a lot of ariana grande like 7 rings so it really sounds american i guess

I really think that Outro is a transition or hint to their next project. One particular section of the outro actually reminded me of snippets of songs in progress (that are still being worked on) which Taeyong made us hear in a v live of his.
