Punch is such a 127 anthem for me! Especially the part after the bridge! It sounds magnificent! It’s still a wonder for me how they had the idea to turn a retro video game sound (it is the concept of this song I think) into such music.

Caitlin: ¡Taeyong has such a unique dance style! Me: U bet he does, that's why ma dude's main Dancer of 127 and 1 of ncts as a whole.

Fun Fact: SM still does it now, but back then, Mark’s and Taeyong’s back to back was more… obvious? Like in mostly every video, Mark and Taeyong had a scene where it was just them both (ex; BOSS, Regular, Touch) they don’t do it as much, but lol I just wanted to point it out since the Regular MarkYong shot. Punch is hard to understand at first but the more you listen, the more you like it, it’s an amazing song, it’s like a videogame song and a movie soundtrack had a powerful baby

"Michael Jackson vibes" Haechan's role model is MJ-- like he LOVES him some MJ. He's his ideal artist/performer. "Mark might even be able to freestyle" He's kinda rusty /now/ but YES! He competed on High School Rapper where you can watch him freestyle in the Cypher battle. He also freestyled for Henry around that time. I think the last freestyle we got from him was the one where he ended it with "put that in your dress......-er" and panicked about if it was an okay thing for him to say 😭 TY and dangerous choreo? TY is a perfectionist, he often adds to or makes edits to their choreo-- his whole "being a person beyond imagination" line is more fitting than you know. He has insane body control that allows him to do moves that would kill the rest of us 😭 -- and he started off as a dancer so bad that his dance teachers told him to give up on being an idol!!

Fun fact: The dance move you said you liked in Regular was actually used by them to make something called "The Regular Challenge." It's basically where they'd go into coffee shops and order something then whenever the cashier asked what size, they'd say "Regular huh?" and do the dance. Most of the time it led to confusion and embarrassment. Most czennies prefer to forget this dark time.

I would love to see your reaction to Taeyongs Solo station long flight and his SoundCloud songs! He mostly wrote these songs himself alone and even participated in the composing. Some of them have deep meanings to them so you should also check the lyrics out and some others are just nice and fun to listen to. One song called gta has already been performed to onstage by Taeyong in one of superm concerts. You can find fan cams of it here on KZread, for me it was really impressive. Taeyong's soundcloud and solo music is completely self-written. He comes up with everything himself the lyrics are so important and beautiful/fun/heartbreaking/everything. His song blue makes me cry from 0:01. It's probably the most seen and understood I've ever felt listening to music.

He wrote yestoday too. Took him a good couple of years I think bc it's personal with him. Then at the end of it he brought in mork and he wrote his part, then lastly Lucas I'm not really sure why, mby sm asked if they would use Lucas in summit bc he just debuted, who knows. (Doyoung was always in it from the beginning for Ty, he wrote it for him to be in it)

When you said superhuman reminds you of Michael Jackson I was like "YES, IT'S DEFINITELY HEAVILY INSPIRED!!" The dance as well! They even made references in the styling, like giving Haechan the glitter gloves!

I would recommend watching Highway to Heaven by NCT 127!! - you will freak out when you see Taeyong and the others visuals - and the vocals are a chefs kiss

Personally, I like Haechan's dancing skills, he is so fluid, smooth and adds a special flavour to the dance, a great example is on this video called 'Come back - nct 127 Haechan focus', where you can notice his dance moves tend to be guided and emphasized by his hips. Also, there is a channel where a ballerina analyzes his dancing and concludes that he moves in a really smart way, saving energy, and still every execution is powerful and precise, with the best technique (another example is in cherry bomb when they throw themselves on the floor and hit their backs, Haechan falls more gracefully and safely thanks to his ballet bases and understanding of his own body)

Personally I think Superhuman is the best NCT song, but it’s not exactly NCT’s typical style. When it first came out, people commented that it sounded more like SHINee’s style. But songs like Kick It, Simon Says, and Cherry Bomb really represent NCT 127’s hard hitting sound, while We Go Up and Hello Future represent NCT Dream’s youthful image, and Moonwalk and Turn Back Time represents WayV’s grand, cinematic style. For NCT overall, they experiment with their song styles in such a unique way that sometimes you night not enjoy the chorus, but the bridge will be full of heavenly vocals that leave you speechless.
