I really doubt he’d agree with most of it lol. NCTzens who go on and on about how trash their styling is, have clearly misunderstood the group’s purpose. NCT was never meant to be your average kpop group who just sticks to the basics and follows whatever trends are popular. Their fashion is just as experimental as their music, and if you don’t like that, they’re not for you. Firetruck was one of the most fashion forward and unique eras styling-wise, not just for NCT, but all of kpop, and yet instead of embracing it, fans won’t shut up about how horrible it was. Actually I’d love to hear Anthony’s thoughts on the ever so controversial styling of NCT, because he too, tends to prefer unique and progressive fashion.

@stoneheart- Exactly. People want everyone to wear conventional pretty outfits all the damn time, and it's so boring. Literally every group out there wears the same thing, has the same styling, same hairstyle, same makeup, etc. Fire truck was actually one of the reasons I liked & noticed NCT, from music, concept, styling, it was all unique, just cool. More people(new kpop fans) are trying to put/shape kpop into a standardize box...And kpop overall was never about fitting into a box from the concepts, music(mix of genres), styling(variety), etc.

And hun I know damn well what their concept is and how everything works having said that I've been with them b4 they even debuted. As for the new fans, I dont find it a problem that they criticize their fashion choices back in the days bc not everything that you are referring to as experimental and not your average style,doesn't have to be accepted and liked by everyone even if they are their biggest fans and even if it was to complete the whle concept. Sure the style suits the concept and all but imo they went a bit to far and the whole point of my comment was to see Antony's opinion. But yeah go off ig yall even saying that if you if you dont like the eccentric style they are not for you??? I'm- Just bc you dont like a piece of clothing doesnt mean that you are not gonna like their music.

My point isn’t that you can’t like NCT if you don’t like their weird/non-conforming style, but rather that all the hoards of people complaining should realize they’re not the TARGET AUDIENCE, and that their whining will ultimately fall on deaf ears. Personally I’m a big Twice fan, yet I rarely listen to their music, because it’s just not down my alley. I dislike a lot of their musical choices, from singing technique to song structure to vocal processing, but I realize it’s not my place to complain, since it obviously works for them and their group image. (P.S: sorry if it sounded like I was attacking you!💚 My original comment was just a general one for all the people endlessly complaining about NCT’s style)

I love the fact that you can appreciate nct style, people usually make fun of their „funny and ugly” outfits but for me they’re genius
