Stage presence is often so hard to describe, but when I look at Taeyong i just KNOW. A good example is in the chorus 0:55 onward, how everyone moves their neck and head while doing the dance. Some members just look straight forward and dont move it at all, some give it a bit more bounce, and then Taeyong really integrates his head with the dance move. He bows it forward to give impact to the beat, he looks to the side to follow his arm movement, he shakes it to emphasize the cross shape being made. It's effortless for him

I also wanna add that Jaehyun is actually the second-best in head movements, compared to Mark, Jungwoo or Yuta. He's underrated as a dancer. At 1:13 Taeyong and Jaehyun are the only ones making the movement "doll-like" which is great because it adds to the meaning of the song Simon Says about being controlled and manipulated. Imo Taeyong is without a doubt at another level, he expresses the dance besides just doing the moves. Jaehyun shows potential but doesnt have the ability to express what he wants fully.

im a new nctzen and wld just like to add on here for this part 1:06 when I was trying to learn the choreo and set the speed to 0.5 it's noticeable that Taeyongs footwork were more accurate than the rest, it's even more crazy the fact that he's also moving backward while doing it.

Yes, all of the young men can dance in NCT! There is no doubt about that. Glad to see Doyoung has been improving with every come back too!...But out of all of them, Tae's dancing is sharper, more fluid and he does things to give it his special own touch without messing up the synchronization of the whole group. These are some of the reasons he stands out and often is center. Of course others can be center and do a hell of a job slaying that spot, But Lee Taeyong owns that spot. In one way he's like a chameleon type of dancer where he shifts to suit the song. Most importantly though, he doesn't bend to the music's will, it bends to him. He's the one and only magician aka the wielder. ☕

No matter how old this song gets, imma listen as much as I want 💯. And Taeyong is such a cutie pie, at first when I saw NCT 127 I thought he looked intimidating but then I looked at videos of them and learned that he’s actually a really sweet person. I love them so much 💙

Say it louder sist! To everyone please *stop comparing them. Like there are 3 main dancers* in NCT: Ten TY Jisung, and all of them *deserve* that spot. They've their own style and shining on their own way. *No argument needed* but people nowadays really under-appreciating and mocking TY cause "getting bored; too many screentime; bla bla", please stop. We (as a fans) didn't know what happened behind the performance aspects (skill, improvement, technical, who suits the most, etc etc) so can we just appreciate it instead of whining and demanding? TY being a center and main dancer for a reason, esp in SM. Yup SM, one of the biggest agency. This camera work is impressive! I really enjoyed watching this dance practice video. Taeyong way of dancing is really eye catching + his style was on point (I love the black/mustard combination). Btw they just remind me I have to make my Christmas tree!

Okay this is how a dance practice video should be. Bright room so wa can SEE the dance and their face clearly. Moving camera so they can capture each member and each moves. Good editing just like an mv. I feel satisfied by watching this.

Agreeeee! The camerawork for sm choreos in general is so amazing (honestly from exo's growl era, like holy shit what?) and fits their style of dancing so much. The choreos are great, but the camerawork really elevated them to the next level.

Thats prolly because going on stage to film that would ruin the vibe for people actually attending the concert instead of seeing their fac band they see the back of a camera, they could look at the acreen but honestly they paid to see the boys onstage in person not to just look at the screen

Seriously the camera moves is so satisfying and clear! I love how they worked for it.

This is one of the reasons I always have to watch this after watching dance covers. They try and I adore them for it but they never really embody the energy that Taeyong or any of them bring. All comes to that only NCT can cover NCt songs to a T

He was once criticized by his dance trainer for not knowing anything about dancing. But now, he is one of the best dancers in k pop. Well..I want say that NCT have the best male idols. No hate to other groups, but as a Nctzen, Im really proud of my boys. They grew a lot.

좋다 좋아 ㅋㅋ , 여유있게 추라는게 힘을 완전히 빼라는건 아님 힘을 주는 포인트를 잘 생각해서 줘봐 그리고 끈적이는 느낌? 그런 느낌도 줘보고 여운있게도 줘보고 끈적이게도 줘보고 또 자신감있게 추고 과감할때는 과감하게, 동작을 크게 할땐 크게 하고 작게하고 싶을때는 작게하고 다만 안무를 포인트를 살려야지 턴돌때도 음악 박자에 맞게 빨리돌거나 느리게 돌거나 또는 그 중간으로 하면서 속도 조절도 해봐 그럼 간지가 날꺼야 그리고 내 눈치보지말고 과감하게 할땐 과감하게 자신있게 해 계속하면 좋아질꺼 같다 ㅋㅋ 깔끔하게 춰서 너무 보기 좋다 ㅋㅋ 진짜 짱이네 너네 ㅋㅋ
