I went on the Norwegian Bliss last year, very similar to the Joy. One thing I learned when I went on the go karts was that YES, they do make the karts go faster at night. Less people and typically only adults ride at night

On the Encore the scale had a green light or red light. They were very strict. Red… no ride. Which was a bummer because on the NCL site they mention restrictions for slides with a weight limit but did not mention one for the Speedways. We only found out when we arrived for our race time.

Dinner food looked amazing. Have never tried it as our experience on Escape and Dawn didn’t have the diner. Love the go carting. Isn’t that surreal on a cruise ship. Looking forward to more of your adventures on tour first ever NCL cruise👏🥳🛳️

Hi Annie! ❤️ Yes! The diner food was delicious and the theming was on point! 👏 We love Route 66 Americana type of style so it was right up our alley! The go karts are really such a unique activity that NCL offers! It was so cool driving and seeing the ocean as you went by! Definitely a highlight of the ship! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

I grew up around motorsport racing. I was on the prima on Christmas and got the unlimited pass. I lived on the speedway the whole trip. I rode it 35 times

@@HoffmanHappyTravels i got to ride it least 12 times to break even. It totally worth the money if u want to ride it a bunch. The prima speedway was awesome

We did them at night as well and enjoyed it very much. There always seemed to be less people at night so maybe they did go faster than during the day. 🏎️

Man doesn't anyone get tired of all the upcharges on the ships? $7 for a milk shake is robbery. I go on a lot of cruises and I just can't pay extra for what I strongly feel should already be included. Can we get the Hoffmans to a million subs already!

I restore cars as a hobby. It pains me to see classic cars chopped up and turned into furniture, instead of being on the road, as it was originally intended. The ‘65 was actually the very first model year of the Mustang. They went into production in April 1964 and the first one was delivered in the summer 1964. Back then you had to order your car from a dealership, and couldn’t drive it straight off the lot. The ‘65s were made until August 1965.

Do the gokarts ever hit each other? I’m a little afraid of them because having some actual speed it might actually hurt if someone hits you.

If you feel like that, then racing is not for you, these electric toys look it could be fun on the cruise there will be very little speed on these electric toys, nothing beats the real karts that can actually get up to a good speed on a race circuit. The go karts on my local track are limited to 50mph because of the track layout, would love to go on one of the pro karts that can go up to 150mph

Hi Ava A! You are not allowed to bump each other in this experience. Of course it may happen on accident and that's ok, but this is definitely not like bumper cars where it's encouraged/expected. Myself, Matt, and my dad ended up in a little bit of a pile up and it stung a bit getting hit but nothing too drastic. I would say if you have neck or back issues it would probably be more concerning. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
