Choral music runs in my blood since my school day in St Cyprians JSS and Nonkqubela SSS machubenu lady frere under Mr Simani (May His Soul RIP)..it makes my soul to be at ease.

The soloist are all beautiful. singing was superb. I have reservation about the conductor with the long hair. He should look at his conducting video. This is amazing, I'd sure love to see that level of singing with the Black people of America. It is so hard to find here. Keep up the good work. I will look for this in 2016/17. I hope your careers take off, those of you who wish to go on. All the best.

Nwai u hit the nail on the head with this rendition of Mvana kaNkulunkulu......it has been 11yrs since this live performance in Joburg NCF finals in 2011 but this rendition is/was second to none. Note made on Tuesday 14/2/2023

NWU Serenaders mwaa they were great for the standard Category

Between SA Singers and VON in 2011 NCF it was difficult to tell who was the best...SA Singers m told that it scored 95% and judging by standing ovation they enjoyed at the end of their rendition its not suprising. And too VON never let anyone down they were just superb. Note made on 7/1/2023.

Truth must be told...or at least the way i see things and assess...the performance of "Kuhle Kwethu" by SA Singers led by Bra Vusi was just second to none......i remember one time VON rendered this piece of work when they were wearing traditional gear led by Ta Fre (Mr X.Gqasana) i kno VON is arguably the best choir in RSA but when it came to "Kuhle Kwethu" SA Singers has no match....Note made on Thursday 7/12/2023

It doesn't make sense, Von deserved to place first, if the judges understood Rossini at all. SA singers, tempo was too slow, this isn't Puccini!

I believe not all Rossini's work must be fast or must they? They "SA SINGERS" might have presented the song way better than the Voices Of the Nation hence they placed the 1st position
