BGMM & Golden Delights all day!!!! Nothing but 🔥

Always good to see the two best HBCU bands in NC go at it. A&T put it a lot of work with performances last year across the nation, and the recruiting shows it! Central came and held up strong. Small bands matter, and those kids represented well! Great game, and while the score wasn’t in A&T’s favor, I think us Aggies are still happy the band is doing what we do!

Much improved over last year. Good job Aggies. Central was ok too. They have a good sound for their size. NCAT has a fuller more collegiate sound.

@koju3891 NCCU was strong for their size. I would say their 9 tubas matched NCATs 22 tubas. NCATs overall sound was fuller though. The large woodwind section gives the Aggies a great sound. Not sure what the 1st song played was unless you are talking about the 5th qtr. I thought the Jill Scott remix they did was very good. Euphone's need some work though. NCCU is primarily a low brass band. Trumpets are weak and mellow phones almost nonexistent. Low brass is great. Overall I thought they had a good sound just not as good as NCAT.

And for my Aggies yall always do the damn thang!! I have to admit i was a little disappointed that my GDs didnt do a stand to that first song but man!! Oh man!! When they did they lit it up!!! The overall win goes to BGMM. However I think that Central songbook showed a wider variety of music. I would give the dance line win to Central because eclipse d anced all the way thru . However I will say that eclipse looks a lot like Alabama state stingettes this year and I don't know why. Still a very good fifth quarter

@MikeWorld25 I honestly forgot. That was almost 12 years ago. The only songs I really remember from then were 'swoop' crazy in love, war, power by the temptations, party don't stop, t pain bag of money, neck (obviously) a couple of forever, and then what, knocking pictures, gap band morning, and that's all I can really remember. This song is a ceelo green song. I can ask some my old members if they remember the name.

That tune was originally our dance feature from the media day performance. We hadn’t converted it to stands yet. We were focused on the field show. That’s always #1. We will develop some fun choreo for this and many other tunes for future games. Thanks 🩷

Loving the growth of the BGMM! Their sound is amazing and GD is top-tier! Please don’t take this book to NSU on 9/30 though (except for Strike maybe). 
NCCU's book was a little more exciting from a spectator’s point of view, however, I’ve heard better sounding high schools in the Deep South. NCCU is improving though...

NCCU did what they came to do but were outgunned

Keep it 💯, pound for pound, NCCU won. They're producing incredible sound for them to be at least 3x as small. Furthermore, NCA&T tubas should be ashamed of themselves, that's a waste of 23 tubas. 9 NCCU tubas gave their 23 WORK. And people will always say a bigger band "won" just because they're bigger, so obviously and because of science they have a bigger/fuller sound. It's like bragging that a heavyweight knocked out a welterweight. If they were the same size, A&T have gotten run out their own stadium

And you should be ashamed for posting this stupid comment. Central arrangements and sound quality is high schoolish at best! The only thing they are producing is Tubas!!! It has nothing to do with a "bigger band"!. It's very clear who had the best "sound quality" and "overall mature sound". And that was NOT Central! Take away those tubas and you have nothing!

Central tubas match their size and power which is a 3rd of A&T and A&T tubas match their size and power. Central tubas are no where near A&Ts

NCCU ALL DAY. SMALLER BAND, MORE COMPLEX NOTES. SOPHISTICATED AS USUAL. EAGLE PRIDE!!!! A&T has definitely stepped up. The numbers are there.
