Madden 24 isn't the worst madden game, what made it suck was the fucking lack of quality control to ensure that menu's would load better and menu organization as well. Other than that, it's significantly better than Madden 18-23 in terms of gameplay and at least having some depth. Still not worth $70 but not the worst.

"The on-field gameplay feels very similar" I saw no gameplay footage in the trailer, it's fully pre-rendered.

Joe, from a former Fifa sufferer. This is the exact same as the games EA bring out between Fifa entries for big tournaments (often at full price). They have released one for every soccer world cup and they used to do it for european championships also. It is literally a roster update and a lick of paint, and this will be the same. 1000%.

I got the PS2 hard drive just for that reason (highlight show). Although the graphics look dated, the highlight reel with Len Berman calling the plays on 2K5 is still incredibly fun to watch. Plus the gameplay is so fluid. Mind-blowing isnt it that Madden still doesnt have this and has half assed highlights? I still pine for another 2K game although EA made sure to squash that from ever happening..........they should be worried because it was so good.

The players all look like they are full NFL players in size sense. College football has a more diverse physicality in players. I know the trailer has shown a bit of what I’ve mentioned but the gameplay looks like they are all the same.

$125 for the "Bundle". $30 for 3 extra days and microtransaction "points". Hilarious.

$70 is fucking ridiculous for EA Sports garbage. You can’t use inflation as an excuse, Indie games are still being sold for $10 sometimes $20 for larger games. Then there’s the popular titles by non-AAA studios who still sell their games for $40. If inflation is a concern, why aren’t smaller publishers jumping on the price changes? EA is a multi-billion dollar corporation, they have zero reason to worry about inflation hurting their profit

This game might be the most desired game to come out except for the upcoming release of GTA 6. I caution everyone to not go out and buy this Day 1 until you know it's not a Madden reskin that makes you pay for BLUE!!!

I think thats because this NCAA team has no incentive to release on PC. Its a "new" team that smaller and the numbers of prior NCAA 07-14 dont support the value of releasing on PC and dealing with the headaches that come with that. Hell, last year there were players modding files to have max stat teams and the "bigger" Madden team took months to figure it out and ban some of those accounts. With the smaller team, I think not having representative numbers for interest on PC and having to deal with that warrants a release on PC either. With PS5 (maybe XBOX as well, Im not sure) if file manipulation is detected Sony just bans your entire profile, no more games PSN access etc. That makes it easier to deter people messing with other peoples experience online that doesnt take this smaller studio more time and resources to deal with.

It’s going to be madden with college teams. We’ll see if I’m wrong

I mean credit where credit is due, this looked really good. It brought me back to the good ol days, making my own team playing with the Aggies, and just hearing the fight songs play in the main menu. But then I remembered it’s EA, so I’m a cautious AF with that big time

I remember NCAA 12 and I LOVED that game. I remember I could create my own character and start my career in high school that I could name and create uniforms for, then get offered football scholarships to schools based off my performance in high school!!!

This is not even close to a Madden reskin and the 150 price tag is for both games.

@@myeruow7988 ....The base game is $70 each. The $150 bundle gives you the DELUXE of both those games which are $100 each. So if anything you're getting a great deal with the $150 bundle.

It feels to me that they are going all out on this first one so that people buy it and it gets good reviews. Then over time they'll get lazy and put in less and less content and charge full price like they do with Madden. But they need this game to have a lot of features so that they are pretty much guaranteed sales on this game and next years. It'll probably take a few years of the same copy paste formula before people get angry like they do with Madden. But let's be honest, this game could be complete garbage and it will make Billions anyway. The Ultimate team players that whale every year on these games are what ruins them.

While you are correct in that football is football, the gameplay already is terrible with glitches and terrible animations. It is what it is and if you want to buy the game, go for it but EA has lied time and time again and they don’t deserve respect.

@@Ocelotmaniac I get the issue but tbh I do care about gameplay but if the presentation and atmosphere is there which I feel like it rlly will be in ncaa25 I can look over some of the sucky gameplay bc the atmosphere is what rlly makes games for me so if the gameplay is a little sucky but the content keeps me there I will enjoy the game and that’s what I feel like ncaa25 will be for me at least madden get very stale for me so I don’t play madden like that but I just feel like a lot of people will love ncaa25 a lot more just from presentation alone

Man NCAA on the PS2 was something else the opening of game day seeing all the fans go crazy and seeing the die hard fans with face paint and porbs starting a deep career was also fun, then the cherry on top you could play as them teams' mascots

Based on the current gaming world, I can’t wait to come back to this vid after Joe’s 90 minutes angry rant/review when EA ultimately kills this franchise again
