This Jacob Cortez kid is the son of Mike Cortez from Carson (L.A.) right? The Mike Cortez who moved moved to the Philippines to play college and pro ball? His son plays with a lot of intensity, goes all out, and leaves everything on the floor. He's undersized but I won't be surprised if he makes it to the PBA. Could become another Jimmy Alapag.

@@darkorlightz Mike was one those superstar highschool players around Carson back in the day before he moved to Manila. Kinda like how Mark Caguioa was in Eagle Rock-Glendale-Burbank vicinity. And both became stars in the PBA.

Still see the same plays played from a decade ago, any evolution of the Philippine game since?

Are you sure you really watched the ball movement, player positioning, the pace, and shot selection in this highlight reel?? Seems like you didn't based on your comment. Go watch some old videos of college games from 5 to 10 years ago, you'll see how different these 2 teams play now compared to those.
